Kraken X62 (2x140mm intake, stock fans)
1x140mm outtake, 2x140mm outtake top

Liquid temp usually hovers around 38°C (ambient +- 24°C). CPU temp idle now +- 55°C (was 40°C a few days ago, worse now since reinstalling the rad). Pump shows 2000rpm (I can hear it running too), gpu at around 44°C idle. Tried everything. Turning the rad 180°C over, putting other fans before/after it, running it with open/closed case, putting fans at 100% or 50%. Nothing seems to help. When gaming cpu intensive games like BF:V get as high as 80°C or more, intelburn over 95°C in some instances.

Broken X62?

It would be really helpful if you could list your mobo, ram, voltages used on CPU as well as any overclocks. Thnx.

Hi,
Usually only last a few years if mounted on the front of a case and rad in/ outlets are on top instead of bottom
Good thing is usually five year warranty so it really doesn't matter just rma get another for rma shipping costs.

Well, sent an email to NZXT, curious how they will handle this (I live in Belgium). Anyway, tried re-applying thermal paste, re-seating the block, even turning it 90°, putting Noctua's in front, running with case open. Idle hovers from 44°C-50°C, games like BF:V go up to 80°C, intelburn up to 100°C. No overclock, MSI Z390 ACE, all stock speeds.

HI,
If they ask tell them you have it mounted on top not on the front :)

Small update, removed the 2x8gb extra ram I installed and temps dropped by about 5°C average. Guess the Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB ram put out quite a bit of heat with the ram stick so close to the CPU cooler (MSI Z390 ACE). Stupid design btw, ram so close to the cpu. Anyway, removed the ram and temps are 'better' (not great but I can live with it). Going to sell my current ram and upgrade to 2x16gb now instead of 4x8gb.

Sounds like you could use some extra airflow.
