Yeah, I was a little shocked to see three Japan/Brazil/Spain, Destructoid, GamesRadar and Shacknews. Those are big names for gaming journalism.I've never seen that add but it is surprising. There are some recognizable names in there but not necessarily sites I would go to (at least for game reviews). I've never played the game and see little reason to play it so I can't say much about it.
Vice, Forbes, Esquire are some pretty dubious sources of info at the best of times, but still big names - what surprised me were all the other more general newspapers, which from experience are usually just a single columnist playing it for a short while and then getting a tiny number of column inches to provide a quick opinion. Starfield starts slow and boring, you need to persist with it for 10+ hours to even get to any gameplay that isn't tedious and doesn't feel like a drawn-out tutorial - so I'm surprised any of those reviewers actually played it long enough to dig through the boring crust to find the enjoyable gameplay buried further into the game's progression; perfect scores from them are extra sus.
Download a pirate copy if you're truly curious and you can always choose to buy it proper if you like the high-seas version.ive played most of the elder scroll and fallout games. I figured maybe it was like outer worlds which I enjoyed but I do hear a lot of people stating the starfield is just boring
The only language game developers understand is sales figures. Do not reward Bethesda with money unless you want to see more Starfield-like work from Bethesda going forwards.
The Outer Worlds was genuinely enjoyable. It played a lot like Fallout New Vegas in space, which is no surprise from Obsidian, and once again proves that Obsidian make the games that Bethesda wish they could, but lack the talent to do so.
