Last game you purchased?

What reviews ? Alien: Isolation is definitely among top10 video games ever.
When it came out the reviews were meh. To the point where almost no one talks about Aliens Fire Team Elite. One of the best PVE MMOs ever.

I got that new Indiana Jones game. Looks great, and its actually not too bad..

Is that still worth checking out ?
Yep. Missions are nice and Meaty and you must work with your team. I feel the community is a little older because you have to work as a Team to win. If you think the bigger Aliens are scary wait until you run into a Queen.

Steam Winter Sale.

Was pretty disappointed overall so I had no issues picking up fewer games than I beat last year:

Suicide Squad: for $3.50 I might as well. My understanding is that it's a perfectly ok looter shooter style game, it simply shouldn't have been a GaaS follow up to the Arkham series.

Bayonetta: felt like something DMC but not just DMC. So Bayonetta instead. Kinda sucks that sequels aren't on PC but oh well.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Straightforward "ghost train ride" style linear corridor shooter game. I understand it's not very long either so should make a good pallet cleanser between longer games. Also get a kick out of the legally distinct faces all the Guardians have to have from the movies.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider definitive edition: still haven't played or beaten Rise yet, but I enjoyed my time with TR 2013 so I figured I'd pick up Shadow for 5 bucks so it's ready to go when I am.

Rocksmith 2014: Where has this game been all my life?! Basically "What if guitar hero, but people plugged in an actual guitar and we taught them how to play" the game. You will get out as much as you put into this one. Tons of built in music/rock songs to teach you to play, and can also download DLC packages for your favorite bands to learn those songs as well.

That's it. That's my winter haul.

Other than picking up Horizon Zero Dawn earlier this year, that's all the games I bought in 2024.

I bought The Forest and Sons of The Forrest, was a good deal. My son shares my library with me..

Undeniably fun in coop. Finished the story in the second one with a friend, it was nice I guess. Be ready to chop a lot of wood though. We used to make fun saying the proper name should've been "Sons of a lumbermill Jack". Also it has potential to become creepy hilarious at times, and vice versa.

I've played all of those games and Starfield is like them but better and tighter. Starfield is a Bethesda game, but with polish and thought. Fallout 4 is the only game I've ever played I got legitemately angry at, and then I started laughing because it's so stupid. Fallout 3 is just bad. Skyrim is pretty and nothing else. Starfield? I legitimately enjoy it. It's not a perfect game by any means, but I genuinely believe it is the best game Bethesda is capable of making.
I played Fallout 4 the complete BOS campaign and liked it. So I've just invested in Starfield and am not disappointed .The game so far , level 1 on 1440p high looks good and has the same feel as Fallout which I like .Im not sure yet of all the settings and commands but compared to Star Citizen which made me Freak out:laugh: on how shit it ran now from 2022 I'm Vhappy lol . I Know they are different kettle of fish but even with a new GPU i get 96 FPS in starfield and 25 in SC ...so SC is off for a few more years...

Got Buckshot Roulette, Cyberpunk 2077 + Its DLC, Fallout NV + Its DLC, and Persona 4 Golden. RE4 Remake is coming up after that once I get the scratch for it.
CP2077 on the 2.2 patch has been great. Can't wait for CP2077's sequel!

Buckshot Roulette was so good it feels criminal for the 2 dollars I spent on it. Game despite its length deserves atleast 7.5 or 10 tbh.

Fallout NV and Persona 4 Golden are exactly as great as I remember them being.

Fantastic month on Humble Bundle, I wanted all of these games. I only paid $9 since I bought the annual pass and pause most months. :D

you are in for a great time, its difficult but satisfying and remember to let your marines rest before they get overwhelmed

Hitman WoA deluxe. Through an arcane set of keys(ites) I managed to snag it for 45,-... Steam price is 99,95, which just screamed no at me.

FF7 REBIRTH Steam, Virtua Fighter 5 revo deluxe edition steam. Looking forward to both.

Sniper elite Resistance but I only get it the end of this month.

I'm really tempted to pre-order Rebirth, $48 seems like a fair deal honestly for what you get. I just know nothing about the story of FFVII and played none of the games or watched any of the movies. I feel like it is too late for me to start, as I won't be attached to the characters. Really frustrating.

I am trying to find a video summary of the entire story from every iteration of the games and movies up until Rebirth, if you know of one let me know.

Virtua Fighter 5 Revo looks cool too

Remake isn't very long and is quite good pick it up on a sale should also run fine on the steam deck or buy the bundle

Get Remake, excellent game. It is the first part of the FF7 remake trilogy.

The Last of Us. Spoiled it by seeing the series first. Still give it a 10/10. It is about as close to perfect as games get.
