Last game you purchased?

I usually do not purchase games...as there is a collection of almost 6000 games that I have, only on Steam.

So I get only bundles, which have something from my WL...& trade the other extra games on Barter.vg
I don't have thousands, but hundreds of games that I'd mostly bought from Steam, GOG, ESG.....so many that even with a total of 18TB of storage isn't quite enough. I have a combo of newer games (Alan Wake series + Alan Wake 2, DSR, etc) and some old faves like FEAR series, Giants Citizen Kabuto, Enclave, UT3, etc. Many games are in my library, but not installed though...

Super Mario RPG for the Switch. Got it physical for around $30.
The game wasn't even truly in my radar, but the deal was good.

Horizon Zero Dawn Forbidden West. I usually wait for deeper sales but I enjoyed the first one a lot so I jumped into this 2nd one hoping for the best at full price.

1st day in and it's been an enjoyable experience despite a few bugs. FSR seems buggy and causes flashing, in cave maps are bugged and shows blocky screen artifacts, and one time in game music glitched and stopped playing. On an odd note it plays at 30fps over Remote Desktop at 1080p.

Paid for, D4
Otherwise it would be some freebie from prime gaming or one of the other free offers.

I'm still trying to 'complete' league of legends.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion for PS4. Got it with a discount as I got PS+ premium recently.

Hardspace Shipbreaker on GoG but I am terrible at it because I have never been a fan of "floating in space" controls but I like the concept so despite being terrible at maneuvering I am still trying my best tho I already got stuck on the first ship and have no idea how to start actually "breaking it"...

Dragons Dogma 2 on PS5. What a giant letdown. Game is choppy as heck and the visuals are like a ps3 game. Maybe its the class I picked but the archer seems really underwhelming. I cant bring myself to play for more than 15-20 minutes before firing up D2R or Horizon FW again to replay them some more.

The lip syncing is like watching a dubbed Mongolian movie in English and the faces are laughable at times when they make a face that completely doesn't match the situation.

I can't remember specifics since it's been a while since I played, but you should be able to scan it or look up in game diagrams, IIRC. You just need to cut in the right places and throw various parts towards the correct receptacles. It becomes a game of efficiency with more complex ships since you have a limited time to pull one apart.

The last 2 games I bought were Battlefield 2042 for Christmas of '21, and Modern Warfare II for Christmas of '22.

Got Sleeping Dogs Def. edition and Batman Arkham Games under 5$ during Christmas sale on Steam.

Helldivers 2 for my wife, Horizon Forbidden West for myself.

So what you're saying is it looks/feels like a Bethesda game. ;)

Well I thought starting with the Window but I couldn’t figure out how to remove it. I guess i should try working on the ships panels. But I appreciate the tips I forgot about the scanning I might just do the tutorial again…Honestly I’ve been totally engulfed in Lightyear Frontier which I cant say I bought because I”m playing on Gamepass but I am absolutely loving it and all I’ve been playing since it was available.

I absolutely loved that game. The radio got me some great tunes for my playlist. I’m pretty terrible at fighting style games but it’s just so good you just try your best to keep going for the story. Now I want to reinstall it and see how it runs on my 7900XTX it always seemed to have unpredictable performance.

Diablo 4, and damn do I regret it. I’ve not played it in months and I probably will just uninstall it. The game just… sucks.

This was a Game that scaled well with Crossfire. i am sure you will get well over 200 FPS with a 7900XTX.

I’m gonna install it tonight and go right for the benchmark ;)

Runs great. Your hardware is a bit similar to mine, so you can take my word at face value (if anything, its UW support isn't ideal but that's nitpicking).

The Game really is under rated. For me Sleeping Dogs is like being in a John Woo movie, or the Living Dangerous series. Adding the Batman control style was genius for some sweet Kung Fu action. Let's slam his head on the cover for the oven. I never trusted the Cop to do any of her missions. I think a new Total War or Just Cause 3 took me away from this Gem.

My second biggest regret recently. I LOVE D2 LoD and D2R and liked D3 up to a point but D4 is just...trash. I dont even know that I am going to try it after the big season changes coming up I disliked it that much.

Oof am I gonna have to find a UW hack to play it? or is just some "jank"?I'm sure the last time I played it I was on regular 1440 not UW. I am just about to download it but my internet seems to be acting up(5G is the only option)so I was troubleshooting that first

No hack needed per se, but it just looks like stretched 1440p.
Wide Wei Shen, to the tune of Song for Denise.

I'll get it when it's on sale for like 20EUR. After all the neutral opinions I've heard of it, hell no I ain't paying full price. :D

I'm one of those who think/feel that the game is in fact getting better with each update and I've had a blast playing my Fireball+Meteor Sorc in the current season for 2-3 weeks. 'thats my usual time spent in a season with 1 char ever since D3 seasons are a thing'
No real regrets on my end and I've had the game pre ordered, D3 was also quite rough in its early times 'also had that pre ordered..' and only got fairly better after the expansion and a bunch of updates over the years.

But then again my opinion doesn't really matter in this regard cause I treat my Diablo gaming experience/expectations differently than most around here. 'I'm also interested in the next big update and I'm defo gonna play in the next season/the early PTR tests are more positive than negative already'
