Legion Lenovo 7i (i9-14900HX) Undervolting

I managed 33500 r23 multicore without disabling background stuff and processes using your guide, V549, awesome. Am I supposed to be constantly thermal throttling during the run? If I'm not supposed to be throttling, that's a pretty good score isn't it? I've been adjusting mv boost, cache ratio, those two do have a significant role. I didn't realise that the mv boost adjusts the IA voltage offset in HWinfo.
 
In a single R23 run, you shouldn't be thermal throttling. In a 10-minute run, you will likely be thermal throttling. There's no need to adjust mV boost or cache ratio outside of what's mentioned in the guide.

Thank you for the in depth guide and advice. The only way I can undervolt the core beyond 137mv is by raising the LLC, but when I do that I can never reach 33500k on a 10min R23 run, best I get is around 33200 using various LLC, though at stock LLC 1.0/1.1 I hit the high score. Does anybody know why the stock would be 1.0/1.1 rather than 1.0/1.0? And, what LLC are you guys using? Is it just the quality of silicon?
 
Hello, i don't see the mvboost@800 option in throttlestop. Has it been removed? i an trying to undervolt my legion 7i pro 14900hx 4080.

Click on the new V/F Point button in the FIVR window. To enter a mV Boost value, just enter the amount into the Profile 1 box in the Range section. Do this for both the core and the cache.

A 150 mV boost at 800 MHz should look like this. Press the Apply button to make sure the value ends up on the left side. Use TS 9.7.2

I thought that being able to fine tune the higher MHz values might be useful for someone. Not a lot of feedback yet. Most users will probably stick to only entering core and cache values at 800 MHz.
