I pushed for top 1% MMR back when I was 10 years younger, I'm less competitive and way less toxic player now :p. I play PUBG everyday and only play some DOTA2 when TI is going on now

My current re-calibrated MMR is Archon

You bought a 4090 to play PUBG and DOTA2?

42'' C3 owner here.

4090 is still a bit slow in PUBG @ 4K Low settings, so I will be getting 5090 to play PUBG :p (Well plus a pletora of single player games when I have vacations).

42in would be my prefered size too, but it's not available in my country yet and I'm already kinda used to 48in screen.

2.23k hours on my G3, no signs of retention yet :D

Your TV might run a much earlier version of webOS but here's how to do it:

Press cog on the magic remote (or settings button, yours might also have the older model of the controller), Support > TV information. Should be under the area that has your serial number, TV model and mac address

Man I would like to try the MLA tech in the G4, but the smallest size for G4 is 55in and it's too big.

Hello. My B9 55" has made me a very happy OLED owner, 5 years in...

I don't know the hours, but if I knew how to check I'd post them. A metric butt-ton is a safe assumption.

You'd do better with random images that wear it evenly. I did that with my own screenshots folder and its worked swell.

Three are on a display hub of sorts if it's like my B9 so possibly the 3 port internal HDMI hub died. The back one facing outwards is the one that works, yes?

Yeah I will try some other images, lookings at a dim reflections of myself is not fun :D

Well, so you have an idea. I have been using with the brightness on minimum since I got it. It's literally set to 0. It's still viewable in daylight just fine. This TV is bright, obnoxiously so. Which may play a good role in the longevity in the long run, at least that's my reasoning. We'll see when we get there. I've owned my G3 for 10 months now and I play a LOT of Genshin Impact (UID is constantly displayed onscreen in white), and not even that seems to have had any effect yet. Thankfully the next patch will allow us to tweak the UI.

There are four HDMI ports on the left of the monitor looking from the front. The third one down is on the only one giving a display. I recall that the other ports worked at some time earlier but it is probably the hub which has died as you say.

Anyone who happened to be using the OLED wrong like me all these years?

Basically setting the windows power profile to Maximum Performance will disable screen saver, which should help OLED lifespan alot. I now use a Black screen saver after 1min
Apparently OLED needs to be treated differently in terms of powering on/off so yes I would say I have apparently been "using" it wrong.

Mine should be hitting 3000 hours this weekend. I've used it with the brightness on 0 all this time, and did a pixel cleaning routine last week when it hit around 2800 hours. Zero signs of image retention still, even with heavy use in Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact (both of which show UID onscreen at all times)

My C4 has accumulated about 700h, so on average about 10 hours screen on per day.

I just did the burn in test, 0 spot so far. Seems like OLED is ready for the big leagues

I have all the (screen helping) TV settings turned on to help save the screen, and I have not noticed any issues. I admit that I use an active screen saver via the wallpaper engine and have my toolbar set to hide and my desktop icons set to hidden. I turn them on when needed but that's not often. I have done my part to make this screen last and so far it has not let me down.

FWIW I disabled all mitigations and used 100 brightness the whole life of mine. Probably not a GOOD idea but its what I did.

Secret? Rapidly switching photo Screensaver with varied content, can't preach it enough.

48in C2. I won't go any lower anymore in display size. 48inch is perfect for me and my desktop pc. Nothing out there is compelling to upgrade to. I will wait until 42inch + displays come out with at least 240hertz. My C2 has almost 3k hours on it and it is the bomb diggity in gaming. One of the best purchases I have ever made in tech. I have win11 running in HDR mode 24/7 and have my brightness on my tv at 100 and the sdr slider win11 at 50%. I like my autohdr bright shunnn.

The C2 is bombdiggity yo!

Having run it on and off for years, I wondered how one of my favourite screen savers of all time would go on my LG OLED.

Suffice to say I've never seen Nvidia Geoforms look this nice, rendered at a DLDSR factor above 4k (I forget which), my lords the deep blacks and insane highlights are captivating, and the colours are mesmerising.

Yep, this beats the PC stopping output and the TV doing it's own no signal screen saver.

My 48C1 has over 6700 hours clocked in, but that's mostly doing TV work (I say mostly because it also doubles as a screen for my laptop sporadically). No burn-in I can notice at all.
