That a perfect case for me (ATX), I will add 6 Lian Li-Uni SL120 for doing air cooling, I don't like watercooling. Can you help me about the best setup:
maybe :
  • Side : 2 *120 IN
  • Back: 1 *120 OUT
  • back : 3 *120 IN

All the best.

I've been looking for alternative power supplies for the 011 Dynamic Mini besides Corsairs SF750, which is out of stock everywhere and over priced at other sites. I did not care for the reviews on Evgas, or SilverStone Power supply. I noticed you used a Fractal Design ION+ 750W 80 Plus Platinum for your build. I was looking for a 750W Power supply on the the fractal-design.com site. I did not find a 750 but I did find a Ion+760W Platinum. I liked the spec and the reviews on the fractal. Doses fractal sell a 750w or better which will fit into the 011 Dynamic mini ? Have you tested any nonSFX Power supplys which fit into the 011 Dynamic mini?

System Name The Sparing-No-Expense Build
Processor Ryzen 5 5600X
Motherboard Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming Wifi II
Cooling Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black
Memory 32GB: 2x16GB Patriot Viper Steel 3600MHz C18
Video Card(s) NVIDIA RTX 3060Ti Founder's Edition
Storage 500GB 970 Evo Plus NVMe, 2TB Crucial MX500
Display(s) AOC C24G1 144Hz 24" 1080p Monitor
Case Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO White
Power Supply Seasonic X-650 Gold PSU (SS-650KM3)

Two problems for me:

1. No included fans(this case is not very cheap, so fans just add to the expense for those who aren't watercooling).
2. ATX motherboards are supported, but ATX power supplies aren't. I know the two might not have a correlation with each other, but no ATX PSU support shrinks the compatibility options quite a bit - especially for people interested in porting their old ATX power supplies.

This market segment and price bracket doesn't need included fans; People will be choosing their own fans and I always end up replacing the included fans because it's almost impossible to source matching fans of the type that are included. BeQuiet and Fractal are the exception to this as their included non-RGB case fans are usually the type that you'd actually want to buy more of - yet that only applies if you're buying a silence-focused non-RGB case in the first place.

Most "free" fans included with the case are garbage-tier sleeve-bearing fans and, unless you're making a budget build where you'd only be buying garbage-tier fans anyway, are not worth keeping. Chances are that the free fans included with a case will need replacing in a few years anyway.

I agree with your second point, but it's a necessity of the layout. There are other case variants in the O11D lineup that support full-size ATX PSUs so if you're intending to transplant a decent ATX PSU across from another build, you should just pick a larger case that permits that.
