The Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL is the next chassis in collaboration with Der8auer and represents a larger variant of the original O11 Dynamic not only allowing for more storage and cooling but also the change to sprinkle in a slew of functional and cosmetic additions.

How this can be a negative for a case review? If it would be missing or worked like crap and poor quality.

  • USB 3.1 Type C headers or boards with two USB 3.0 headers still a bit hard to come by on modern motherboards

Maybe because there's no front USB 2.0 connectivity available as alternative?

Nice case but without full on water cooling setups, it would look rather...empty.
Yeah, to me the front glass panel looks funny w/o anything in back of it, no fans, no water res or something.

Maybe an air version would be better and possibly slightly cheaper, That would be the way i would go as I don't water cool.

Both previous version of the PC011 could not fit a tall cpu cooler like the noctua d15.

Noctua lists the height of the d15 as 165mm, here cpu height clearance for the new XL is listed as 167mm. Would it fit with both fans?

It it has USB 3.0 headers...

Then the point could be to have included USB3 to USB2 adapters for older/cheaper motherboard headers. Cheaper board and Lian Li usually doesn't go in one sentence often.

But the stated negative kinda is pointless and undeserved this time.

I dont know why, but i really want this case.

Yes I know it is nowdays - I knew that was coming BTW - that said I still like to have the option despite the fact all I ever seem to do is dust the blank cd box.

Just do what 99% of us do and buy one of them portable slimline drives that cost about £20. That collects the same about of dust as the rest of my discs do but once in a blue moon some wants a CD made for their old car that doesnt have all the fancy mp3 and bluetooth shit and only then do i get to take it out and use it.

And here is a case that I like very much! At last!
Pity that just last year I spent much much money on a new build :-(

I wish they build it 5 inches bigger called XXL and add 480 Rad capability with large front window distribution plate and yea throw Benny Boy a bone to chew on like an optional ODD bracket

What do you guys / ladies like more the new phantheks Luxe 2 or this Dynamic XL? reason why?

This one by far! Phanteks looks like a decade old...

Hi,
I Know this ist officially Not supported but you think 2 Radiators one 420(3x140mm) and 30mm thigness, Seconds 280 (2x 140mm ) and 45mm thigness will fit this Case?

Currently i am using a Fractal Define R6.
But this Liane Li Case Looks awesome.

But i want to keep my Radiators and Fans.

I don think 420 will fit, Wish they would have made it a little larger seems a bit small still.
Perhaps you can find more detail on this link.

Lian Li offer Vertical GPU Kit with XL or kit for PC-O11 Dynamic is compatible.
I would like to price of kit for my case drop, now cost 80 euro, same for PC-O10, for Dynamic is 50-60.

Several companies offer PCI-E x16 Extension cable but no one PCI-E x1.
People need to sacrifice dedicate sound card if they want to install GPU in vertical position.
At least there is a 4 PCI-E aero slots, only need x1 Extension and Sound Card could be installed behind GPU.
Lian Li kits should include x1 Extension cable as well.

this casing is definitely reserved for custom loop systems.

I bought one from OcUK with an nzxt 360 air. I already had an asetec 240 and nzxt g10 bracket for my RX Vega 56. I don’t want to mount the 240 in the bottom because the trapped air will migrate to the top of the aio, ie the cold plate. So I want to mount it in the third spot near the HDD cages. However you can mount a thick rad at the bottom and right now my 240mm has push pull fans (it’s not even mounted in my Antec P180).
