Log file: date wrong after month change

Here's an excerpt from a RealTemp log file (v3.7.0.0). With the change from October to November, the date format changed and the date became wrong. What's up with that?

Never mind! Apparently Excel had gotten its hands on that file. The original CSV file is OK. But as soon as I open a (good) log file in Excel I see

and I have not been able to straighten it out by messing with Excel's formatting. Any ideas?
