Logitech Announces G330 Gaming Headset and G500 Gaming Mouse

Mamba costs £110 in my local PC shop O.o
£100 on Amazon. Who came up with the £130? :D

I'm suprised how cheap the G500 is, it's about 10$ more than G5, that's really a big step for Logitech - making something affordable.

its R.R.P is £130 or at least that was what it was when it first came out

I wonder if the G500 is much more comfortable than the G9

I wonder if the G500 is much more comfortable than the G9

since its based on the G5 (which i find far better than the G9) i would say so.

I really think the G9 was a failure.

At first I thought the G500 was for lefties.

that headset looks sick

Loose the weights and tilt wheel and I'm game, if the middle button is better than G5 (that's way too stiff).

I have middle button on the other thumb button too, as it's just bad. None of the weights are in, as it's a bit heavy even without them and opening/closing tabs it's easy to tilt the wheel instead of pressing it. Other than those issues G5 is great and surely G500 too.

TBH its still lacking in button dept, altho i know that with uberoptions you can reassign the sensitivity buttons to another function but my mouse is over 5 years old and has had way more buttons than what logitech and MS have released recently. I would assume the G9 wasn't as popular as once thought, as I was expecting a G9/11 with more buttons than a Mouse more Comparable to the MX510/G5, at least they are going in the right direction than compared to earlier G version mice.

Now this is a mouse I can get in with. I didn't like Logitech's G9 or the newest mouse they had out, design was all funky. As for the headset, wish they did it at 5.1 surround, even if it is fake. Would save my wife the trouble of hearing my movies or games or even facebook! HA HA!

I dont mind the G9 so much - i just wish it came with better 'grips'
