Today Logitech introduced the Logitech Wireless Mouse M525, the ideal solution for anyone who wants to scroll quickly and easily through the Web.

The Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 features an innovative micro-precise wheel that packs more grooves per millimetre, giving you a smoother navigation experience. It makes scrolling through long Web pages faster and easier. Plus on most computer systems, the built-in tilt wheel lets you move backward and forward on the Web just like with a swipe.

"The Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 features faster scrolling, tilt wheel navigation and laser grade precision so you can surf the Web with ease," said Marcus Harvey, UK Country Manager of Logitech. "It offers a perfect mix of precision, performance and comfort - letting you freely interact with the digital world, a place where we spend an ever-increasing amount of time."

The Logitech Wireless Mouse M525's sculpted design and soft rubber grips conform to your hand for natural comfort, and the compact size makes it easy to take with you wherever you use your computer - at home, at work, or anywhere else. And with up to three years of battery life, smart sleep mode and an On/Off switch, you can almost forget about changing batteries.

The tiny Logitech Unifying receiver connects up to six Unifying-compatible devices with a single nano receiver, so your space is free of clutter and your USB port stays free for other devices. And Logitech Advanced Optical Technology delivers laser-grade precision over the most challenging surfaces, while using less power so you get up to three years of battery life.

Pricing and Availability
The Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 is expected to be available in the UK in October 2011, for a suggested retail price of £34.99.

marketing/advertising depts can make anything sound like diamonds. :/

I dont see how this is better or any different then my cheapo Logitech M215 aside from the cosmetics

I like it, at least from the pictures.
Ambi-dextrous design; smooth lines and a good colour scheme.
/me likey :)

IDK, it is too small. Like a notebook mouse. The LX6 is better IMHO:

Argh, that should be too small. Fingertip-grip? lol, I would look for something bigger.

Its only for ocasional use with my ultra portable anyway. If my laptop was more of a gaming pedigree like my previous one, i would have got something bigger and better to use.

M215 is small & compact, the battery life lasts months on 1 AA battery depending on how often you use it.

Its all you need while on the move or when the focus isnt on gaming

I have the M501 (no longer made) and it looks just like this, I really like it, if it's really the same mouse it should be worth every penny.

Same here i have had the last 2 versions of it and the only reason i got the last one was due to the micro usb connecter. Just noticed they did add some thing else which is the tilt on the wheel and the battery area is shorter.

Only real difference i see is the LED below the wheel is turned sideways lol..

There great mice the batteries out last any other by a long shot especially the Microsoft mice by months. And the light on them turns red when they running out and even then the battery last ages lol.

Only reason i can see why they would do this is to keep the price up as the last issue i had with one was due to not wanting a long ass USB connecter sticking out the front of the PC lol. Hopefully they be priced about the same too.

There deffently great mice which last for a hell long time and work up to 6-7 feet.

Totally different mouse it's full size to start with
We have one of those too although they use 2 AA batteries not one all though they get the job done for basic computer stuff and again batteries last ages.

For sure and their only like $20 from walmart and much better than the blu tooth BS you can get with the MS mice which i was hoping it be as good as the PS3 remote which is no were near.
