Logitech G, a brand of Logitech and leading innovator of gaming technologies and gear, today introduced the Logitech G PRO X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset. This new PRO headset brings pro-grade LIGHTSPEED wireless technology to an award winning design that's built to the exacting specifications of the world's elite esports professionals. "I love my PRO X headset, the only thing I wish it had was wireless support," said Soren "Bjergsen" Bjerg, League of Legends, TSM. "Well now I don't have to wish anymore!"

Based on the award-winning PRO X Gaming Headset, the PRO X Wireless headset features high-quality materials, advanced communications, precision audio and total wireless freedom. The PRO X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset is now equipped with 2.4 GHz LIGHTSPEED wireless, which delivers over 20 hours of battery life and 42 feet of range.

"The PRO X Wireless gaming headset is an important addition to our line-up of pro gaming headsets," said Chris Pate, portfolio manager of the Logitech G PRO Line. "The PRO X Wireless headset gives pros and aspiring esports athletes the ultimate wireless headset, providing them with the performance, communications and comfort they need, without any wires or limitations."

Additionally, the new headset features advanced Blue VO!CE software for incredible voice clarity and high-quality communication in-game or on stream, the PRO-G 50 mm driver for crisp professional audio, next-generation DTS 7.1 surround sound for better situational awareness and comfortable memory foam padding with a lightweight design delivering hours of comfort for long practice sessions or competition gaming.

No detachable microphone?

The 70's and 80's want their headphone design back...
In fact, that looks a bit like something a farmer would use in a tractor...

No detachable microphone?
Apparently it is removable. Scroll down towards the bottom.

Two hundred freaking dollars. I don't know what Logitech is thinking, but they're pricing themselves out of the market.

I'm still waiting for a Taiwanese upstart to come along with a wireless USB-C headset that's almost as good as anything by Logitech or Corsair or Coolermaster, but only costs $50 and causes those greedy companies' marketshare to crater.

No they're not. They're trying to copy Corsair. Everyone complains that they want more audiophile headphones and when they get delivered, everyone complains about the price. You cant have it both ways.

just watched a couple of microphone tests on YT, it still sounds sucky

I don't want audiophile headsets. The majority of the market doesn't want audiophile headsets. What we do want is wireless headsets that don't use Bluetooth, don't sound like absolute shit, don't hurt to wear for extended periods, and cost under $100. I don't think that's a big ask, but apparently the manufacturers disagree.

The Corsair Virtuoso at least looks and feel expensive (and also sound quite good now, after a few firmware updates), this looks, as I said, like a pair of ear protectors...

I also don't think anyone wants to do "affordable" any more, everyone wants ever increasing margins on their "gaming" products, so I think you can forget about something that's both "cheap" and good.

Id rather have quality over quantity.

Hello Everyone i bought this headset G Pro X wireless since i alwayes trusted Logitech but i got scummed! i gave 200euros for them while the sound quality is realy good they were comfortable to wear even after long hours !! the quality of the plastic in the other hand it is very bad ! when i say very bad in the first month the insde of the headband where the small screws are that are holding the head set where broken from the inside while and soon after the plastics that are holding the speakers where drpoping out piece by pice for the price range of this headset that shouldnt happen!(I never droped them I never scratched them and they had their own place on my office on a hanger!) the plastic are slowly falling apart! i tried to return them and offcource the 2 year warranty do not cover them since its external plastics so they say i misshandle them (i didnt!) i do not recommend anyone to buy this product since it brakes on its own.

Sound quality +9/10
Comfortable +9/10
price +5/10
quality 0/10
