If that is high friction pad I have no idea what the Roccat is then :D I watched a video where a mouse freely slid on the QcK when given enough force. The Roccat doesn't go even one centimeter :D

QcK is noticeably better but still too much friction. Definitely not so awesome as reviews make it to be.

Then I ordered SPC Gear Endorphy Cordura Speed in M size, and THAT is actually awesome. It't not entirely silent, but that's a small price to pay for something that actually lets me move about freely.

I was looking for a thread I posted in past and came across this.
I believe I will amuse a lot of people by adding I solved this problem of too frictious mousepads later on by removing the plastic covers from the mouse's glide pads. I used the fucking thing like this for MONTHS! :D

Popular tech channel LinusTechTips were sent a mouse for review, Pwnage StormBreaker, to be exact. The reviewer declared the mouse to be shit since the glide was poor. He, uh, didn’t remove the plastic adhesive tape from the mouse skates either. When the viewers pointed that out they obviously had an “egg on face” moment.
