I have used ChipQuick low melting point solder to help remove components, but are there any recommendations of other similar products that cost less but still work well?

I've also wondered about that, but worry about annoying fumes; for now I use Kester 186

Yes it does fume, better work with a window open (my fume extractor is worth nothing)

How easy is it to wash off? I like my boards to be clean after working on them.
