Rats have always been garbage mice, with horribly stupid design and useless features, while having subpar sensors and components, so yeah the fact some of you buy these doesn't mean they're good products, they're objectively bad products overall.

Yeah I have sensor issues too, sometimes the Y axis stucks, it's getting annoying, but it lasted for 3 years, whatever, sideways scroll wheel is extremely useful for dev/workstation/management stuff.

But who says the new ones would have these issues.

I'm not saying anything particularly regarding the new ones, i'm just saying they always made crappy mice, and these new here could even have decent sensors but what about the rest...

R.A.T.7 mice had a sensor that was sensitive to dirty surfaces. As long as you had a good clear surface, and the sensor wasn't occluded at all you'd be OK. RAT8 didn't have any such issues and tracked wonderfully in all situations.

Again, you really should have first hand experience with them to make a judgement. Mice are a very subjective thing.

What's the deal with Mad Catz now anyway? Who was mad enough to prop this up and what happened to the Saitek mice?

I can read multiple reviews, and make up my mind from that and by looking at it.
That's not what he asked. He asked if you have used it. I read reviews all the time doesn't mean they make up my mind. I give a company a chance before saying their crap. Also if you don't like the Mad Catz brand why are you commenting? It seems like a waste of time telling everyone their opinions are crap. I happen to have a R.A.T. 5 which works amazingly and there is no other mouse that works properly for my hands. Other mice hurt my hands after a few hours of use whereas they don't.

I'd have my hands checked if i were you, finding comfortable such mouse probably means you have a weird grip and problems in your hand's bone structure and/or else, Those are just shitty mice, there's nothing to discuss about.

For you there seems to be a lot to discuss about, you can't refrain yourself from it. So far, the only shit I see are Italian bridges :banghead:

Angry? I'm not angry, just stating facts, mad catz mice were always low quality - high price useless gimmicks, nothing more, nothing less.
Well, you basically said that we were idiots for liking a specific mouse...sounds like anger to me

Apparently you're confirming what i said with your post. Wow bringing it on nationality level, lol.

Not idiots, just people who don't know what they're talking about, and claiming that they do, it's as simple as that.

I'm pretty sure we know what we're talking about as we actually have owned some of these devices. But what do I know as an owner of something over someone who hasn't ever really tried these things?

Owning thing doesn't mean necessarily know stuff about them.

Shitty mice, period.

I'm going to let the first part of your quote speak for it self, since I can't come up with anything funnier than that.
