Without getting too deep into conspiracy theories: Look up the five eyes, and the fourteen eyes, and imagine why they'd want to be able to see a recording of anyone's desktop at any time. Then see how much gov't funding MS has received every year.
I'm pretty sure there's a big portion of the population that would think Five Eyes and Edward Snowden revelations are "conspiracies".

Why would anyone download that app? That seems absolutely daft in the head..
Windows app has gone crazy now, they rolling out some kind of major update related to icons and copilot AI, and now the app is stuck in a perpetual sync, reporting 100s of thousands of pending changes but then when it got down to 34781, it stopped progressing and is now just constantly writing to a one drive database file, since I started watching it, it has already written 14 gigs to this file, a steady stream of about 9MB/sec using 85% activity on the NVME.

The database isnt growing, I think it might be stuck in a loop, but seen enough going to stop using this.
