Last, if this will be your first venture into the realm of multimonitor setups, be prepared to be spoiled rotten for the rest of your life. I will never go back to a single monitor. For those wondering about the bezels getting in your way, I don't even see them anymore. It is like the rearview mirror in your car. You only see it when you intentionally look at it.
^^THIS^^

I have had multiple (3x, sometimes 4x) monitors for many years now and absolutely refuse to go back to just one....nope, not doin that !

It's da space man, da space I tellz ya :D

I haven't heard ANYTHING since.
The lack of information may not be Newegg's fault. They get their updates from UPS/FedEx/USPS. If the shipping company is not telling Newegg the status, there's little Newegg can say.

That said, didn't you get a tracking number for the shipper so you can check directly?

Hopefully, the truck your monitor is in did not slide of an icy road somewhere. A friend ordered something (I forget what) from Amazon and the truck driver decided to go around the downed guards at a railroad crossing. You can guess what happened after that.

Anyway, after a month of back and forth and ever changing delivery dates, he ended up canceling the order, reordered the same item and got the new order 3 days later.

That is certainly part of it but one could argue you could just get an ultra-wide monitor or a 55" TV and use that and not have to deal with any bezels. But it is not the same as separate monitors (each with their own taskbars too) that you can park open windows on.

I've been on a dual monitor setup since 2006.
Late bloomer, huh? LOL

I bought my first LCD monitor somewhere around 1998 - a ViewSonic 4:3 15". My Gateway 15" (Sony made) Trinitron CRT became my secondary (even though it still had superior image quality). It was about as mismatched, aesthetically, as you could get, but I was in heaven, and hooked for life.

A couple years later, I bought a HUGE ( ) 17" 4:3 Samsung LCD and retired the CRT boat anchor/space heater. The Samsung had a silver case and the Viewsonic's was black - but I was still in heaven.

Somewhere around 2002, I bought two Samsung 19" "widescreen" monitors and finally had a matching setup. I have 24" monitors now and like that size for my sitting position and desk real estate. Not sure what I'll do when I decide to upgrade. I can't see me going bigger than 27" - if they fit my desk. I note two 24" monitors side by side still gives you over 40" in width of monitor space.

Still using single displays for certain situations
That would ONLY be when I'm on my laptop, irritated the whole time being I am stuck with on small monitor.

Nope, not me.... I say: "go big or go home" :)

That's why I have a 32" Sammy as my center monitor, and 2x 43" Sammy's on the sides to maximize my work area, which was my goal from way back....

I started on this journey with 2x 21" Apple Studio Displays side by side, which were the true beasts of the Trinitron era, with their semi-translucent "Blue & White" casings and huge 3-pronged bases, and took some major reinforcement & bracing of my work table just to hold the weight....but thanks to the advent of lightweight, flat-panel LCD's, this is no longer an issue :D

Nah. Was not a fan of CRT's clogging up my desk.
I wasn't either. But that's all there was in the beginning.

I say: "go big or go home"
Well, for me, your setup would be too big. I would wear out the discs in my neck rubber-necking all day long - and I already have 2 discs that are prolapsed I don't need to irritate further. I like to have the surface of my primary monitor sitting at the tip of my fingers of my outstretched arm, with the monitor's center slightly below eye level. This is "ergonomically" perfect - at least for my body.

Plus, my desk has a hutch. I could fit 27 inches under it but the controller for my speakers might not fit under my monitors (and stay comfortably within reach) where it does now. And the placement of the front left and right speakers may be an issue too. The left is already squeezed now.

Oh well. In the grand scheme of things these days, these are petting problems to be complaining about.

Oh yes of course. And I track the package through UPS directly. Status there hasn't been updated since the 16th. Kinda makes me wish I'd paid the $30 for expedited shipping, but then there's no guarantee I would've received it any faster.

Yeah, that would be frustrating. I hope you get it soon - if not the monitor, at least a status update.
