Motherboard ground connector not picking on mulitimeter

Here is a 24 pin circuit diagram for an MSI MS-7540. This may not be a direct representation to the B450 motherboard, but won't be much different as far as grounds are concerned.

Also at OP keep in mind the dot represents a connection of 2 conductors/traces and the lack of means they should not be connected.

Correct. Power switch is not grounded directly to any power supply pin, at least in that diagram. It is PS power on/off and SB gets power first typically. I like motherboards that use the SB LED indicator, that helps ensure that circuit is powered.

Thank you. This is what I wondering about because pin 17 doesn't register continuity like the rest of the ground pins

Looking at the diagram from ShrimpBrime below, pin 17 is electrically connected to other pins for the motherboard MS-7540. Can you try to measure continuity between pins on the connector itself ? Such as 17 and 18. Wiggle probes lightly to see if the multimeter beeps.

Also, is there any way you can post pictures of the area near your connector ? Ideally both front and back.
