MSI announces the first "DROP" of "THE LIMITED SERIES": the MSI GeForce RTX 4060 GAMING X 8G NV EDITION. This marks the birth of "THE LIMITED SERIES", the new concept that introduces special editions of MSI best products. As the best-in-class mainstream GPU and best card for 1080p GAMING, the GeForce RTX 4060 is the perfect match for this first "Drop". Game, stream, create, and the new MSI GeForce RTX 4060 GAMING X 8G NV EDITION, will let you take on the latest games and apps with the ultra-efficient NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture. Experience immersive, AI-accelerated gaming with ray tracing and DLSS 3, and supercharge your creative process and productivity with NVIDIA Studio. Packed with a SPECIAL NVIDIA GREEN color scheme and additional RGB on the side and the shroud, this "Drop" is the first opportunity for Hardware Enthusiasts and Gamers to show their uniqueness.

As being innovative is not only about performance and technique, MSI has also decided that this series will be the first step of its new eco-Friendly approach. Indeed, the very special graphic card will come in a sustainable packaging using only the right amount of product protection wrap and material for the packaging of the graphic cards. With only 6,000 units available worldwide, this graphics card promises to be a collector's dream! Don't miss the chance to get your hands on this very exclusive item. MSI GeForce RTX 4060 GAMING X 8G NV EDITION is now available until stock last.

Not even they want it

…drop the price.
…not some green paint on it…

limted performance series

That looks pretty ugly

Looks nice, but it's still a 4060. And 4060 sucks.

LMFAO they really tried to get people hyped with this "MSI Premium Limited Ultra Super Mega Deluxe~" announcement and it turns out to be some stickers and green paint.

Scam Edition, the nonsense of this RTX 4060 is so clear since its launch that it is not understood how Nvidia's partners still try to place this garbage to the public.

At the very least don't make it fugly AF...

More like the RTX Sc4mthousand series (had to incorporate the 4 some how).

I really hope that comment about it becoming a collectors dream was part of the marketing material and not an editorial choice.

Too bad Nvidia and their AIB probably sold another 4k units as this reply was made because the consumer market has zero self control lately.

So they're using FOMO to move graphics cards? Might work on consumers who especially like this colorway I suppose.

Should've called it the Darwin Edition
And inside the box, 'You lost' on a piece of paper

My god

MSI was doing really well for a few years, and they are just shit like the rest of them now. Really I don't know if we have any quality companies left.

ASRock I want to love them, but damn their mobo's get mediocre reviews every round.

ASUS will scam your heart out as the scandals recently showed us.

Gigabyte made my ears bleed with coil whine I did not believe was possible.

XFX for my graphics card has been my only good experience lately.

hmm... I guess the individually numbered GTX465 Golden Edition was not the first one... or its been so long people forgot about it.

Source: I helped launch this back in the Fermi days when I was at MSI.

This crap should be limited to the trash can. Well played Nvidia, the very definition of regression.

Good to see that nVidia's GPP is alive and well! :) /s

Mid 2000's design is what qualifies as "collectors" edition.
