As AMD launched the 3rd Gen Ryzen processors and immediately gained lots of attention recently, MSI also released a bunch of motherboards for various use. To fulfill different gamers offer diversified options, MSI is pleased to introduce our new MEG X570 UNIFY motherboard into gaming market. Belonging to the top gaming segment MEG series, MEG X570 UNIFY is our brand new premium product with modest and pure black design, emphasizing on the true value of the motherboard instead of fancy LED decoration.

By eliminating all the redundant RGB LED from the motherboard and adopting the UV black printing, the heatsink shows the gleam and the shining reflection of the dragon to symbolize a mysterious and high quality image. For MEG X570 UNIFY motherboard, MSI put great efforts on those essential parts concerned by those enthusiast gamers, enhancing not only the thermal but also power solution to run with the AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen processors. Emphasizing the ultimate performance, MEG X570 UNIFY also brings astonishing overclocking records to enthusiast gamers. With AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor, it is an incredible result to push CPU frequency to 5857 MHz, which is by far the top 1 of all records.

Aluminium Cover with Extended Heatsink and Heat-pipe Design
Cooling is what an enthusiast gamer cares about and MSI adopts an aluminium cover with extended heatsink on top of the power delivery circuits to help to dissipate excessive heat. The all metal extended heatsink contains even more surface area for more thermal dissipation. Other than that, a heat-pipe connects from this larger heatsink to another MOS heatsink means better conductor of heat.

Frozr Heatsink with Zero Frozr Technology and Double Ball Bearing Patented Fan
MEG X570 UNIFY is well-designed for the highest level of processors to support advanced performance algorithms. With high-end thermal solutions including our new Frozr Heatsink Design, which integrates the heatsink and a patented fan with double ball bearings for better durability. The exclusive Propeller Blade Technology can generate more airflow and lower noise, and Zero Frozr Technology can auto-adjust fan speed for chipset temperature based on personal preference.

3x M.2 Shield Frozr
Not only focusing on CPU cooling features, MEG X570 UNIFY also provides all the M.2 slots onboard the best thermal solution. All three M.2 slots are equipped with MSI exclusive M.2 Shield Frozr. M.2 Shield Frozr prevents throttling, maximizes drive performance, and ensures higher maximum SSD speeds.

2.5 GbE LAN with Wi-Fi 6 AX
MEG X570 UNIFY features 2.5G LAN plus the latest Wi-Fi 6 AX solution onboard. The Ethernet networks offer high-bandwidth and low-latency for demanding power users. 2.5G LAN provides incredible data transfer speed faster than ever before. The Wi-Fi 6 AX solution is a revolutionary network with up to 4x network capacity and efficiency in the high signal density environment.

3x Lightning Gen 4 M.2
Featuring the latest PCIe 4.0 technology for PCIe peripherals and M.2 storage slots. MEG X570 UNIFY motherboard is equipped with the maximum 3x M.2 slots which can support up to 64 GB/s bandwidth and faster transfer speed than before.

IR Digital Power Design and 2x 8 pin Power Connectors with Core Boost Technology
MEG X570 UNIFY adopts an aggressive VRM design built with IR Digital PWM. With 12+2+1 power phases and dual 8pin power connectors, the hardware design is perfectly built for demanding overclocking users to ensure precise and undistorted power delivery to the CPU while facing the challenge of high-end processors. MSI exclusive Core Boost technology can also help support multi-CPUs and create the perfect conditions for CPU overclocking.

Server Grade PCB
Server grade PCB is an enhanced design to fully support the higher bandwidth and faster transfer speed of PCIe Gen4 solution. This construction is more rigid to prevent PCB bending and reduce signal loss by up to 30%, and also keeps PCB stable and reliable for long-lasting system performance.

MEG X570 UNIFY is perfect for hardcore gamers and users. With high-end specification, user-orientated features and MSI exclusive software, the black design shows unique purity and offers the true value of the motherboard. Let's join the dark side with MEG X570 UNIFY!

This was the one I think. Bought the ACE exactly two months ago, and just today MSI shipped the promo coolermaster watercooling.

Judging by the price/perf dif. I’d much rather go with the Unify.

Not really something about this board in particular; but does the Fan on X570 boards make that much of a difference? Like Wouldn't a well designed heatsink be much more cheaper and robust in the long run?

I think a plastic fan is a LOT cheaper then the (sadly) old-school full on copper arrays we used to have.

And sure a fan is a moving part so it can break/die but by that time you probably will have bought a new motherboard already or just replace that with a proper aftermarket heatsink.

ACE without infinity diode decoration. Unfortunately, there are only 4 SATA ports here, which will overwhelm many, as we like to move disks from previous systems to the new build. If you plug in 2 magnetic disks and 2 SSDs, you are forced into the upgrade card for anything else. it really can be enough for a whole new system. The rest is very good and is also ATX format, very suitable for small casses. A score hydrogen-cooled single core does not mean anything to me! It is enough power to destroy the processor three times +! Qne of the best deals in x570 chipset or best buy .

This mainboard is looks really decent, but I just can't take over that we having fans again on these boards
5 years ago even mid mainboards had superb heatpipe solutions,
Now only the $600+ range - maybe

Really sad,
I hoping some brands will produce silent performance mainboards with decent heatpipe solution in the ~$150+ range
Currently we have only GIGABYTE X570 AORUS XTREME for X570 from ~$700 :(

I prefer the board to have fans on it's chipset(s), at least it's getting cooled that way and they make 0 noise.
Don't understand why some are hating on chipset fans but hey, to each his own I suppose.

I too got an ACE a few weeks ago and it seems like a good board. I don't know if I'll ever lean on it like I do my Asus boards but the layout (To me) is nice at least.

Heatpipes on motherboards have been extinct for a long time now. They disappeared with the release of x79/990fx chipsets a decade ago. Heatpipes were utilized because heat put out by prior chipsets could not be managed by a fan alone. That said if future chipset releases get progressively warmer we may very well return to the days of having monuments and roller coasters on our MBs.

Not sure if I'd call it zero noise. Many of the X570 have chipset fans that are running at 100% fan speed and can be noisy.

Haven't experienced that with any of my X570's.
While technically you are right about calling it zero noise, I don't hear it when they are running meaning you shoudn't notice it above anything else including case fans, CPU fans and such.

To the point, I'd still rather have it than not and glad the one I got has it and look at it in the same way as a CPU or AIO/rad fan - They all wear out sooner or later anyway and replacing it is no big deal if I ever have to.

I have zero problems with the chipset fan. It rarely comes on and is not a noisy issue. This criticism is m,ade by those who wear tin foil hats. It is a bogus issue.
