How was that speed achieved? 2867 Gbps / (8 bits/byte) = 358 GB/s. System memory has less bandwidth than that.

Ok after reading it again I'm 99% sure it's a typo. From wiki a 802.11ac wireless card can do 866.7 Mbps using 256-QAM, a 160 MHz channel, and a 400 ns guard interval. I assume each Killer NIC is a GbE NIC, which means 1000 Mbps each. 1000 * 2 + 866.7 = 2866.7. Round that up and you get 2867 Mbps.
Change Mbps to Gbps and you get the 2867 Gbps in the article.

Or maybe they talked to aliens and found a way to get a 1000x increase in performance using exisisting GbE and 802.11ac hardware. Then this might end up being a great deal.

Or maybe they talked to aliens and found a way to get a 1000x increase in performance using exisisting GbE and 802.11ac hardware. Then this might end up being a great deal.

OOh wow MSI and their expensive jokes, sorry but if i went a friends house and noticed he had a mobo that said Godlike on it i would have to crack up laughing again.

And not this plastic crap Bah more crap to take of the mobo before installing it, and like some one else said Intel nic and not some killer nic BS.

Other wise it looks like a nice mobo but it's made by MSI and MSI gear always screw around with RMA's for me. never mind the BS they said about another mobo and support for AM3+ being added to it then they changed their minds so screw'm anyways.

I don't know and I don't really know why you would even want that.

You get better throughput, but the bandwidth stays the same. Just like teaming regular NICs.
This would only result in higher latency and probably syncing issues.
