MSI controversy

MSI is still my preferred brand for components going into my builds.

Don't know if I'm just unlucky or what, but I've had two mid/high end MSI motherboards fail on me after just one year of ownership.
MSI MEG Z390 ACE - Lost primary PCIe slot
MSI Z390 Tomahawk - 100% bricked after 6 months


Don't get me wrong these are decent boards with pretty good feature sets, but it seems MSI quality control could do better.
