The MSI Thunderstorm dual-sided GAMING mousepad is engineered from anodized aluminum, forming a tough mousepad that will not bend during intensive gaming sessions. To keep it firmly in place, the Thunderstorm is equipped with anti-slip feet on all four corners. Its unique L-shaped design gives gamers maximum freedom to position their keyboard and mouse exactly the way they prefer. The edges of the solid aluminum Thunderstorm have a chamfer finishing for a premium look and feel.

Suited for gamers of every type, the MSI Thunderstorm features two different surfaces to choose from. For ultimate swiftness, the polymer textured Speed Surface is optimized for fast movements and gives a smooth motion with very little resistance. For gamers that require maximum control, the Control Surface features a more rough texture that provides more friction to precisely control movements.

MSI GAMING peripherals are specifically tailored for gamers and have made quite a splash in the gaming world. Proudly displaying MSI's GAMING Dragon to symbolize strength, MSI's powerhouse of GAMING peripherals cover highly durable mechanical keyboards, high-precision ergonomically engineered gaming mice, premium gaming headsets, uniquely themed mousepads and game-specific hardware tuning software. Driven by passion, MSI meticulously crafts its GAMING peripherals to incorporate both functionality and design, making them the best choice for ultimate gaming.

Unless the dragon 'pulses' = No buy.

Metal and glass pads.. I thought we were over that back in the 00's.

Why not, metal is very durable and easy to clean, provided no rage quit involved. Cloth is getting stinky after a while and could be unbridled. Texture on plastic pad will be smooth after weeks/months of use.

Yeah why not, i am still using my Glass Steelseries mat like if it was new still.

i always wanted a aluminium mousepad, sometimes price is insane on them .... so for know the current "Conkor" is doing the work,
looking forward a cheapass option for the office....

solid mousepad is nice, but i agree with too much dragon and the design, whats the point having little more space on the top left?

Maybe it fits in tot he design of their keyboard LMAO, i see crap like this in MSI a lot just a different design.

L-shaped design gives gamers maximum freedom to position their keyboard and mouse exactly the way they prefer.

I just don't see it at all, and what i do see is some thing that would be better without it and would of been much better if it was bigger overall.

I had an IceMat back in the day. It was a cool gimmick but holy shit once the mouse skates on your mouse wore down was that thing completely unusable.

Got mine free from MSI today at CES :D

I'd like it, if it had way less MSI branding.
