PC World Bulgaria has on its YouTube channel posted a full-fledged unboxing video of the unreleased MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Gaming X graphics card. The card features MSI's new-generation TwinFrozr 7 cooling solution that's embedded with RGB LEDs, TorX 3.0 fans, and a design that's resembling, although slightly toned down, from the company's RTX 2060 Gaming Z graphics card. You also get a full-coverage backplate that extends to cover the tail end. The card draws power from a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Display outputs include a trio of DisplayPort 1.4 and an HDMI 2.0b.

The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is expected to launch later this month at a starting price of USD $279, although the MSI Gaming X could command a premium. Based on the 12 nm "TU116" silicon, the GTX 1660 Ti lacks RTX technology, but offers 1,536 CUDA cores from the "Turing" generation, and 6 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit wide memory interface.

The video presentation follows.

We expected this to come, taking on the price+performance segment from the RX 590, price cuts incoming? I mean some RX 590s are dropping in price as it is.

Certainly a good looking card, and TwinFrozr are solid coolers. But this is still very overkill for this GPU.

The RTX 2060 is what, 180W? It might be a bit necessary for this card, if not, it could help with overclocking.

That looks like at least a 300 dollars or euros card.

for those calling this card expensive in US must ask why they are paying tariffs to their government, also there is a thing called inflation due to money printing decisions of the Treasury :)

Looking good, should easily beat the mediocre RX 590.

RX 590s have already dropped in prices before the 1160 release. They are around $260-270. You get 3 games worth of $180, so you actually get the RX590 for around $80-100$ or so. And you don't get any games for the 1660Ti as far as I know. So I won't expect a huge price drop.

Currently U.S. inflation rate is 1.6%, and for 2018 it was 1.8%. So there goes your inflation theory.
