7900 XTX is only better at pure raster and sucks at everything else, compared to 5070 Ti.

Results from techtubers show 5070 Ti become faster than 4080S when DLSS SR is enabled.

Now we need FPS comparion between 4080S vs 5070Ti (both with DLSS + FG 2x mode )

In the review I watched that tested this in CP2077 it was a whopping 12% faster with DLSS performance mode and 2X FG vs the 4070ti super it's performance gap actually shrunk vs native performance which was around 17%.

If a GPU is held back by standard Windows configuration it's a GPU's design flaw. 7900 XTX is only better at pure raster and sucks at everything else, compared to 5070 Ti.

The only significant problem I see with this particular GPU is its bizarre price. Should've been under 600 to be impressive. Oh, only if we had someone schooling NV on how to make GPUs but AMD are doing drugs instead.

Looking at the prices at Best Buy and Micro Center and all of the aib's have lost their mind. lol Looks like I'll be holding on to my 4070 Ti this round.

Even if the price was $750 it would still be a terrible decision to purchase it to replace your 4070ti. At best it would be a side grade at that price. Heck even if it cost $600 it would be a bad option for you because you would be wasting $600 for what is essentially 15% more performance after 2 years, literally negligible difference and in most games that would translate to something like 10-15 frames.

You'd ideally want at least 50% more performance for the same or lower price than what you bought your 4070ti for in order to upgrade, anything less than that and its just a side grade at best.

I'd say the 5070ti is DOA, the $750 msrp is a lie and most models are listed at $900 or more, so the cheapest models that you can actually order are $900 with many models going for $1000.

Even at $750 it would be a terrible card, just 15% more performance over its predecessors after a 2 year wait, absolute dog shit!

the 90 series is only one not being milked a 3nm gpu releasing 2 years from now and having 200% over 5090 is impossible the limiting factor is memory bandwidth you need higher bandwidth gddr7 chips. What you will get though is proper cards down rest of stack like 5080 is actually a 5070. 5080 doesn't exist. So a true 5080 25% within 5090 perf not 51%. That is a the performance gap you typically get for top card vs 70 class. 3090 vs 3070, 2080ti vs 2070, 1080ti vs 1070. The 5070ti is a 60 series card typically 60 series competes with prev 80 series. 1060vs980, 2060vs1080, 3060ti vs 2080 super(this is where 60 class milking began 3060 non ti barely better than 2060 super. 4070 was actually 4060. The 4080 was proper for 80 series just horrible price. The 5080 is not and its more expensive than ever before.

Because i have 2 PCs at home. 5080 and 7900 xtx with 9800x3d and With the same memory.

Totally debloated windows. All security disable. and everything turned off what is unnecessery for gaming.

And yes VBS hold back AMD, and someone said its gpu problem. OH REALLY?

But if we reverse the roles and VBS hold back nvidia everyone gonna blow up.

While I think this comment is excessively aggressive, I do agree with it. We’re intelligent enough to deduce basic things, especially in TPU which I follow as I think the reviews are better than in other sites, and the way this 50 series launch has been going (stock shortages, scalpers, and tariffs among others) - it almost seems disingenuous to advertise this price as msrp (like ASUS did with the tuf 5090 that ended up increasing in like less than two weeks after launch or something ). I think Gamer Nexus did the right approach - basically acknowledge it’s not worth the price that’s it’s actually going to retail for, rather than parroting talking points given by Nvidia and partners Marketing/selling teams.
