MSI launches R6850 Cyclone 1GD5 Power Edition Graphics Card

Which is why this card makes no sense, unless they want you to replace the heat sink, in which case sell the card bare, and take 40 dollars or so off the price.

So unless there is something better(twin frozr), this is worthless? Have a look at reviews of cyclone gtx460 cards. They are all extremely quiet and have great temperatures. Have look at guru3d review of this 6850 card. It has best idle/load temp for this price range cards, noise is really low too.

With cyclone that card is at 65°C when oc to 1017, so I don't think its the temperatures that holds you from some huge overclock... so twin frozr would be probably meaningless

:slap:

i got an old good 5850 for 180$ i think its good deal since the 460s are for 250 and the 6850 is for 210

Holy ****!

I'm from europe myself and a Twin Frozr GTX 470 costs 325$ here (vs 270$ on newegg after rebate). Keep in mind so many countries have much lower minimum wage than US too.
