Exactly, it looks like it's made up out of rejected parts from other projects. Considering this thing is likely to cost $100+ you'd expect to see a product that looks like a retail ready device, not like something out of the spare parts cupboard.

Sandisk Extreme 64 GB costs here around 80$ , hopefully ventura ultra will not cross 175$.

If they're using Sandforce then I'm amazed that it fits within the USB power spec. Max power has to be less than 2.5W in order to be backwards compatible with USB 2.0, and that's not common on Sandforce SSDs.

If you are correct, anyone thinking this will retail under $300 is crazy. After all, you are getting 256GB of NAND, a Sandforce SSD controller, and a SATA to USB 3.0 bridge all on a stick.

What's with the oddball sizes? Are those "Actual" (vs 64Gb giving you something like 60Gb), or are they really mis-sizing them by putting a bunch of gunk on them?
