Orange Amplification has upgraded the multi-award winning state-of-the-art Orange Personal Computer to the 3rd Gen Intel i7 processor and doubled the maximum 8 GB of RAM to a massive 16 GB. The 3rd Gen Intel i7 processor has up to twice the HD Media and 3-D graphics performance and delivers stunning visual experiences from mainstream gaming to HD video editing. Creating and editing videos and photos, surfing the Web, watching HD movies or playing mainstream games are now quicker, crisper and more life-like. The additional 16 GB RAM will further help the speed of the OPC and enable users to multi-task with no noticeable slow down in performance.

Users can now also purchase the OPC with the latest generation NVIDIA GeForce 650 Ti or AMD HD 7750 Graphics Card for even more advanced graphical performance. Already described as an 'affordable guitarists dream' by Guitar World Magazine and a computer '[packed] full of high-performance components' by CNET, the OPC now has a huge speed boost with the upgraded 3rd gen Ivy Bridge Intel CPUs with the added benefits of built-in studio quality speakers, ultra-low latency (1ms), ¼ jack inputs/outputs and an incredible £500 of recording software already installed and configured. The latest upgrade means the OPC now has more power and speed for a wider range of creative needs from recording, video editing, gaming, music playback and 3D modeling to provide unbeatable value.

The latest upgrade on the OPC follows a succession on world class reviews in 2012 which saw Expert Reviews.com give it a 5 star review, Guitar World awarding the OPC their coveted Gold Award, CNET.com presenting it their editors choice and Stuff magazine describing the OPC as an ace-sounding all-in-one studio crammed into a '70s rock icon'!

To take a look at the OPC and all the other Orange Amps and products go to Orange Music Booth 4890 Hall C. You can find out more about the OPC software and hardware and also buy direct from our website www.orangeopc.com

Can i eat it too? Looks rather delicious.

This would look amazing in my Drums/Guitars room :rockout:

interesting and weird. I wonder if they do bass amps/computer combos since for some reason I can't access the hardware section of the website

haha everyone is gunna post one of these ----> :rockout:

Excellent piece of art. Must have. Had to read twice. It's one-in-all Amp + PC and looks great. I love the orange color and my guitar will hopefully love it as well. Reminds me to ancient mini bellow boxes for e-guitar.

Just had a look on their webside. This little diamond is not cheap, if you want the maximum.

Orange OPC
Upgrade RAM: 16GB DDR3 Dual Channel 1333Mhz (+ £120.00)
Upgrade CPU: i7-3770K 3.4Ghz 4 Cores/8 Threads (+ £192.00)
Keyboard|Mice: Premium keyboard and Mouse (+ £10.00)
HD Display?: none
Gaming Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 (+ £100.00) OR-OPC-V1.2 £1,206.99
£1,206.99 (Inc 20 % VAT)
Subtotal: £1,206.99
Total: £1,206.99
Inc VAT: £201.17

Other thoughts: How will it cope with the extreme noise i.e. acoustic waves? Might result in interferences and damage the pc hardware. Not sure.

Seems fair. I paid $550 for my Tiny Terror and $400 for a 1x12. This is basically the same thing, plus 3770K PC.

Orange has that classic British sound, love it to death. you won't be disappointed.

Also included is this software:

IK Multimedia AmpliTube 3
IK Multimedia Custom Shop – Full available Orange Range
PreSonus Studio One Orange Edition,
Mixcraft 5.1,
Toontrack EZdrummer Lite,
LickLibrary Guitar Lesson Center

Also interesting to me is that it uses a Gigabyte board ,and FSP PSU. I don't see any issues with the amp side of things affecting the PC side.

Orange not me... I'd like it in a Carbon Fiber like the Marshall MG series. And is this a actual "amplification device" that can drive some 4x12 speaker cabinet, or a computer in in a amp box? Would be cool to run some electric guitar effects software and a drive like an internal 15W speaker or a cabinet.

Yes, but no. It is a complete amp/speaker combo, with PC as well. It cannot power external speakers, only the onboard speaker, but it does include a line-out so you can connect it to a mixer for larger sound. It has everything you need to play and record music on the built-in PC, without any other external devices, other than a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Looks great in a your music chamber. Nice equipment. Didn't imagine the amp is that big. Thought it's only quarter that size. Would be great if one could get just the amp and the orange case and build the PC stuff in by oneself.
Will have to wait until my amp store has one to check the sound, because i've a frameworks midi guitar with nylon strings, i.e. a classical guitar with a build-in pick-up/midi interface.

Thank's... saw your picture and see what probably a 8" 10W speaker so that cool! :rockout:

That is not the same unit, the amp under the speaker there is basically what you get, but there is a set of Stereo 6.5-inch speakers in the OPC, not that big box you see in the picture there.

:D

There will be more info coming out real soon, NAMM 2013 is on right now, hence the announcement. ;)

Ooops. Very funny. So you lucky guy own the big orange. Always like a good joke. So let's wait until we get hands on this little fruit ... I wondered already what this little amp below the chair is and I found it on orange's webpage.
Didn't Namm started today in Anaheim?

Well, the Tiny Terror you see in my pic there is Orange's smallest tube-based unit.(maybe they have something new, but not that I know of). As far as I understand it, the guts from that are inside the OPC, but I might be mistaken.

I've used an OPC, it still offers that same sound that the amp I have offers. Pretty incedible, really.

Other than that, it's just a mITX rig with audio I/O interface built-in. Great for students or those with small studios. I've now got a full drum kit and other stuff in my basement, and the Tiny Terror is perfect for that.

And yeah, NAMM today.
