New-Low Cost Liquid Cooler from Asetek

Enthusiast cooling manufacturer Asetek has announced its LCLC low cost liquid cooling solution for OEM and ODMs during the Technology Showcase at the Intel Developer Forum 2006. The LCLC is a self-contained water-cooling solution targeted towards quiet system manufacturers. LCLC systems promise a lifetime of 50,000 hours with no maintenance or service required. The system is completely sealed and can provide cooling for multiple components such as VGA or second CPU. With noise levels of less than 28dBA this is the ideal solution for high end Core 2 Duo gaming PCs, workstations, digital home PCs and small form factor PCs. The good news is that fully configurated water cooler with 120mm radiator will cost around $30 USD, which is pretty amazing.

im going to grab one up and try it on my gfx card.. if it doesnt work well enough, ill sell it on ebay as "better than air cooling, silent water cooling, all in one unit" haha

similar to cool masters aio water cooler...which i hear is not that bad, and cost around 70 bucks.

i think it looks nice at least

hopefully performance is decent

i think wc is best for keeping sys temps down because this way it exhausts all the heat from the cpu out. if you think about it, all the water does is transport the heat to a different metal to air transfer. so instead heat going from cpu -> metal -> air
it goes cpu -> metal -> water -> metal -> air. a radiator is a heat sink that cools for water that takes heat from water, puts it on itself, and then into the air.

i think this thing looks really nice and compact tho, which is glorious

If it's decent I would be willing to spend up to $60 (by decent I mean like able to cool better than the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro on my C2D)
