True, I don't know anything about game development and the gameplay is fine. I'm simply taking issue with presenting a game with such low quality textures.And that only shows that you misunderstand the game dev process.
You are focusing on the graphics, which are clearly still in development. Instead focus on the gameplay.
Of course, it's possible that it's a design decision and the devs want it to have a retro look. I've also made a similar comment on their YouTube channel in the hope of getting an answer to that.
It's no big deal, just a bit puzzling.
