The U12S was the best all rounder.
Can't wait to get one of these.

But to be honest, they should stick with one fan and drop the price to around 80.
The customer will decide if they need an extra fan.

Will the "Next gen" 14 and 15 have improved heatsink/more heatpipes like this does?

Next Gen = 1 or 2 additional pipes depending on cooler model using the new fans like the A12-25 in 140mm, They have the U14 and the D15 planned

Chromax Line = Current Gen all black

Redux Line = Minus 1 or 2 pipes from current gen depending on model

maybe do a research and check TPU review of the fans? cause they are the best, bar none.

And read it not that impressed and noise is not a problem I'll just turn up the audio volume on the amp or put on some cans and never hear it at all

Because the other U12S one was about 65$ (1x F12 fan) and if you wanted do add a second fan, you would get about 90$. Plus you get all the improvements made to this U12A one + two new kickass A12 fans.

Why are they expensive though? Because of what it said on the text above... that is confirmed by reviews: you get a freaking massive premium build quality bundle.
- the cooler is top quality and performs great + good mb compatibility
- the retention system is awesome and easy to mount + you get future Noctua retention/brackets (free or charge) everytime Intel or AMD decides to change their sockets
- you get an L shaped screwdriver that will basically be your PC tool of choice
- the fans are top quality + silent as f... + reliable as hell
- the thermal paste is also top + you get a good amount for years to come
- 6 years warranty (not that you'll need it, but it's there)

Basically, specially with this highly compatible "120mm" size, you'll have a cooler that will last you for more than 10 yrs or hardware changes, and it will do it flawlessly.
I compare it with a good power supply. Get a good solid one (paying for what you get) and you'll have a PSU "for life".

Well said. This is why I roll with all Noctua and only Noctua for my cooling needs in desktops and servers at home.
