Heh true, and I'm sure the GTX 1080 Ti review comments section included the words "milked" and "Ngreedia" somewhere too. Over two years later and it still holds it's own.

Depends how much you need/want ray tracing.

For sure, but it's good to see 1080 Ti performance can now be had for $499 regardless of the RTRT support. The Radeon VII for example launched @ $699 and fell short of the 1080 Ti too, and is still $180 more than this now.

If you can actually get a 2070 Super for $500 then thay will probably sell but I just checked Newegg and the Nvidia store and some of the regular 2070s were selling for over $500.

The Supers aren't even available for a few more days. And yes, there's the initial markup/early adopter fee. There always is.

Uhm actual availability for 2060S and 2070S is 9th of July as it said in review, so check back in Tuesday. 2080S will be available later at 23th July.

So basically my 2070 is worthless now
It is? It doesn’t play games the same as it did before Super came out?

Because Nvidia assley release a card with the same price tag that offers almost a 20% performance boost barely a year later
Okay. That doesn’t invalidate the performance of your card any. It just means the new one is overkill.

It doesn't mean that either. Just that it is faster. He may not be satisfied with current performance......who knows. lol
What I mean is (and I should have been clearer), if the card already played the IQ and FPS he wants, then anything beyond that is extra, or overkill as far as his needs are concerned.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
I accounted for that, yup. :)

Im just surprised at that sentiment from someone(anyone really) who has been here for so long with so many posts and would seemingly know how the process works by now.
