That's impressive, we go from no capable hardware to 60fps @ 1080P, gotta love progress.

While we are at it, do ya think it might matter if the cards OC 30+% like 9xx or single digits like AMD ? No interest at all what reference cards to not overclocked.
OC did not matter for Pascal and very likely will not matter for Turing. GPU Boost 4.0 should do a bit better than 3.0 on Pascal did which means there really is no real headroom over where card will boost itself.

All Pascal cards ran fine at around 2GHz. You had to have a good one to go over 2.05 and a real good one to go over 2.1. That includes reference cards and custom PCBs and increased TDP-s had very little effect, if any. Once you get rid of temperature limit, you can raise the Power limit but you are very likely stopped by the voltage limit and there you'll stay without voltmods in BIOS or on the card. There is no reason to think Turing will be different, not the clocks but how it behaves.

i think it might be better to wait until the game is upgraded to allow for RTR to function ... which it isn't as yet. While we are at it, do ya think it might matter if the cards OC 30+% like 9xx or single digits like AMD ? No interest at all what reference cards to not overclocked.

As opposed to the TPU tested 349 watt Vega 64 or 432 watt Fury X ?

Chaos asked for numbers, I had linked to the first insight. Every other argue is useless before official benchmarks.
