Most likely a fake? What makes you say that?

some of these newbs would spend more just cause it says "Cyberpunk" on the side.

The black and gold colorway scheme is nice looking, but the RTX cooling design still looks really gaudy to me. I'm glad that the AIB's don't seem to be participating with mimicking it. Regardless of how it looks I quite look forward to seeing how well it functions especially in relation to the AIB's designs of the same RTX chips that's what matters most. If it's effective kudos to Nvidia and if it isn't enjoy your modern day ugly Nvidia FX cooling design.

You never know what AMD's pricing for their cards will be so maybe NV is giving hints to AMD about the pricing :)

They have two choices:
a) Forming a cartel = no one will get the dollar
b) Compete its other = 5% discount

i like the look of the reference nvidia design, they make nice looking cards, but they can be a nightmare to work on, with silly plastic hex screws, & seemingly purposefully confusing construction.

i noticed none of the early AiB 3XXX gpu's have gone with the dual sided fan set up nvidia is touting, atleast not the AiB cards that are listed now. many of them have this odd hole/passthrough cut out, from the AiB using the reference PCB's id guess.

As far as I remember, there weren't any Founders Edition-like AIB cards in the 2000 series either.

Frankly, we're very interested to see how the next-gen Quadro RTX even achieves its alleged 48 GB of GDDR6.
What is interesting here? Just using twice denser GDDR6X chips, in same clamshell configuration? Same what was done many years now on Quadro line.

I thought a CEO edition will come with a hot secretary

Covid measures, they left those buried under the CES paperwork.

I can believe a 3090 CEO or Ti doesnt matter to me, but it would be 24gb gddr6x or 48gb gddr6 unless they create more dense gddr6x in time

In all fairness, if someone had done that themselves via homebrew electroplating, I'd tip my hat to them. Just enough shiny to look good, without descending into the bling zone.

Its overused with no real naming sku its confusing with poor marketing and they lost focus on where they stand, titan rtx ampere would sound ridiculous like the rest, besides the 2080 ti on average is better than titan rtx in games i think because they oc better, i havent stayed focused on performance since i stopped my benchmarking threads but the titan was trash at the time.

So to cut it short, 3090 will sell better and is a better marketing decision
If the Titan is dead (might be considering the 3090) it is not because of the naming or marketing (not sure what you mean by that). The titan represents a top notch card with specific performance, power envelope etc. (For what price NV was selling it, no doubt about it). If you picture 3090 (not fully enabled chip) running at almost 400Watts, no wonder Titan wont be there. There might be a "Ti" version instead.
So if you say that, marketing was in fact the factor for no more Titan, this is what I think, your "marketing" means.

They could have just called it 3080 Ti but they didnt, this has nothing to do with naming unless it was all for marketing, the 3090 will simply sell more and on top of that have board partners. I wouldnt be surprised if they do make a titan but they werent selling compared to the rest. Marketing makes perfect sense to me

It is all for marketing. 2080Ti showed clearly that xx80Ti naming at this high of a price point does not end up being acceptable, so Nvidia sidesteps that with a new number. Whether Ampere Titan will be a thing is still an open question.

I don't think NV will make a Titan this time around with this Ampere. There might be a "Ti" version for the 3090 with fully unlocked chip. Time will tell but I'm sure NV will not risk a Titan moniker for something totally out of specs.

Well yeah, my whole point was they wont make a titan because marketing a 3090 with similar specs will get them more monies.

I think there's more into this but lets say I kinda agree with you :)
