NVIDIA released the GeForce 358.50 WHQL drivers, which are "Game Ready" for Star Wars: Battlefront Open Beta. Open for pre-loading now on Origin for free, the game goes life in a day. In addition to this, it includes an updated driver support for GameWorks VR SDK; and OpenGL ARB 2015 extensions. This includes support for OpenGL ES 3.2 on the desktop. Grab the driver from the links below.

Haha, this was exactly my thought. Windows Update drivers are gaqrbage, so I beter do it fast myself :D

Electronic Arts' Recommended System Specifications
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Core i5-6600
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 970
Based on our own testing, Electronic Arts' recommendation of a GeForce GTX 970 will give gamers 60 frames per second and above at 1920x1080, with medium detail settings, in the Walker Assault's 40-player battles. Higher detail levels will require more powerful GPUs, such as the GeForce GTX 980 and 980 Ti, as will higher resolutions.

Seriously??? WTF of the game reqs are those????? Battlefield 2 with those specs goes into 120fps on 1080p, and you tell me those specs you can barely reach 60FPS on medium?????????

There's no limit to how poorly one can code a game.

You can play the game with less

Minimum PC System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
Processor (Intel): Intel i3 6300T or equivalent
Memory: 8GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Graphics card (ATI): ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

But the recommended 16 GB RAM is a bit of a surprise. My crappy internet connection rules me out anyway.

Unless youre 'Rocksteady Studios' (Batman Arkham Knight) or some random russian indie developer flipping unity assets on steam greenlight.

I think they need a faster driver than this one

Strangely enough, on my W10 system I intentionally installed 355.82, and when 355.98 came out, W10 never replaced it! Makes me wonder if it allows you to be one behind before forcing the Windows version of the driver on you?

Windows 10 does not update video drivers for you anymore. That was updated and changed within a few weeks that it was released.

Or there's no limit in stupidity when trying to compare a game from like 8-10 years ago, to one from 2015.

Can anyone confirm if this Drivers has a problem with Kaspersky Interne Security as the previous ones????

Thanks!!

So, a stock 980ti is 2 fps slower than a Fury X at 4K on an engine from a company that worked with AMD? How is this slow? This is what you'd expect is it not? A £550-£600 gfx card made from Unobtainium is a fraction faster than a £530 (stock version) card*. As for the rest of the stack - go figure, it's DICE. No surprises above. FTR mind you, most 980ti's run way faster than the stock tested benchmarks.

*offers not included.

That's a very high memory usage. The 970 maybe has more than 4GB? I did a clean install using DDU, but it looks like Afterburner doesn't operate properly. Did anyone encountered this issue?

You mean, if Kaspersky has a problem with the nVidia driver? Kaspersky's problem, not nVidia's problem.

Did you restart MSI AB after the driver install?

I'm not so sure about that. It was like 2 weeks ago when I tried installing ForceWare and Win10 kept on interfering with its own moronic driver versions.

That is likely because of the VRAM issues on the 970. Medium @ 1080 must be under 3.5GB VRAM. High and up probably push past 4GB. Only reason why they'd list a 970 as medium and a 980 as high. It's the same chip, just the 980 doesn't have the crippled memory.

Have not experienced that since the first week I had 10.

I still can't d/l it. If it's not fixed by the beta launch....people are going to be pissed LOL

Rocksteady has nothing to do with the first release of Arkham Knight...

Except no matter what it says on paper, the 970 can't keep up with a 980, even at lower VRAM usage, say down in the 2GB range.
