NVIDIA today released GeForce Software version 441.12 WHQL. These drivers come game-ready for "Red Dead Redemption 2," which is going live tomorrow (November 5th). The drivers add or improve optimization for "Need for Speed Heat" and "Borderlands 3." The drivers fix a white-screen game crash associated with "Super Robot Wars V." With these drivers, NVIDIA is also addressing a security vulnerability, which isn't documented publicly yet, but will be released on Nov 6th, as "Security Bulletin 4907". Right now it is only briefly described as "Added security updates for driver components". Grab the drivers from the link below.

Just did a custom clean install of these drivers, no issues so far, and it's the first time it didn't make my PC reboot for a custom clean install, so that was interesting.

Open issues:

Windows 10 Issues
  • [Battlefield V][G-SYNC][HDR]: When G-SYNC and HDR are enabled, the game cannot be maximized to full-screen after being minimized to the taskbar. [200558314]
  • [Grand Theft Auto V]: The game frequently crashes. NVIDIA is working with the application developer to resolve the issue.

I think, since the crashing issue has not been fixed yet, I will reinstall Rockstar in preparation for RDR2, and just not reinstall GTA V.

Any news on the AMD side? I would like some drivers for RDR2 too.....i hope they release it tomorrow

just installed and tested this driver on my gaming rig, was surprised to see better frame rates (Need for Speed) and my 2060 is running cooler!
