NVIDIA today released the GeForce 372.70 WHQL "Game Ready" drivers. These drivers feature day-one optimization for "Battlefield 1" Open Beta, "World of Warcraft: Legion," and "Quantum Break" Steam release (Win32 variant, supports multi-GPU). The drivers also include a DPC fix for multi-GPU machines, building on the fix NVIDIA released for single-GPU machines in the previous release. The drivers also enable NVIDIA Fast Sync for GeForce 900 series "Maxwell" GPUs. Grab the drivers from the links below.

Fast Sync? Anyone tried?

What this Fast Sync means for Maxwell users?

There's a hack to enable it via nvidia inspector (iirc) for Maxwell, but I saw mixed result reports, not sure.

What about AMD drivers? AMD always delayed..

Well seeing as battlefield games have collaborated with AMD since BF3 and allot of their tech is integrated into the engine I'd say AMD doesn't need to worry about optimization.

Fast V-Sync mode was already available in the driver before this one. Works very well. It's dropping frames that aren't in sync with the refresh, thus allowing unlimited framerate without tearing. It works really really well.

OT but: This is the first driver release I've not installed immediately in a while... I've finally dumped Windows 10 to a secondary position on a small partition, and what's strange is I don't really have a desire to boot it back up to install this. I'm doing fine gaming on linux, naysayers be damned.

i am very glad NV enabled fast-sync on my gtx980 because i wanted to sell it for a gtx1060 just to get fast-sync ... it was the only reason i whould do that, because for me as a Online-RPG-Player it saves me from the need for a G-Sync-Screen

just a little bit of the known v-sync input-lag stayed but i am fine with that.

so i´m at 150FPS with NO TEARING

Glad they fixed the darkened FO4 Pip Boy screen issue. That was irritating as heck.

i was playing it some hours ago and i noticed it! i thought it was a bad file in the game..

Dropped back (again) to 369.00

Both 372.xx releases have caused stuttering/chopping on my setup during game play (rocket league even). Dropping back instantly I can breath again.

But I can't play BF1 Beta on HD7730M (Dell 15R) Crimson 16.7...
BTW, Did you else win Cryorig R1 Contest ?

I'm surprised you can play Bejeweled.

lets see how these go...

oh and as glorious as fast Vsync is, it doesnt frigging work with SLI.
I was given glorious candy and then had it stolen from me :(

But he says everything sucks from nvidia, i kid i kid.

No I don't. I even made a thread and praised NVIDIA's V-Sync modes. But yeah, there are things that do suck quite badly...

well i just learned one thing with a clean driver install.

nvidias vsync on has more mouse lag than AMD's. Always wondered why people were so opposed to Vsync, now i know why.

Killing floor 2 is my high speed FPS game, played it AMD with vsync on, then Nv with fast vsync - now SLI with vsync on/off... and wow it felt super slow with vsync on, like my mouse movements took twice as long to appear on screen.
