NVIDIA today released a small, yet seemingly important enough update to their GeForce driver suite. Shipping under the 398.86 beta version, the new graphics driver specifically addresses an issue whereas Windowed G-Sync mode might stutter after upgrading to Windows 10 April 2018 Update. There's no other declared features in the release notes, so if you've been experiencing this issue, just make the jump. You can grab the drivers below.

I can't get g-sync borderless to work since this stupid 1803 update. Maybe this will help.

Stay with 391.35 for very looooong time. The best driver for April update and Windows G-Sync.

I wonder if it fixes a slight issue that I have with nVidia Fast Sync.

398.86 or 398.96? Title and text disagree.

I have a 1080ti and updated over the old drivers for last upgrade. Man it sucked. Never again I will straight update drivers from nvidia again. I couldn't run anything without games crashing. Almost thought it was my card. Ran DDU and reinstalled drivers and all was fixed. Coming from AMD that shit never happened to me, always updated over previous drivers without any issues. Looks like Nvidia has its own problems.
