OCZ's ATV Turbo 4 GB USB stick comes in a flashy yellow color with a rugged rubber shell. It uses Dual Channel Technology to maximize performance - in our testing 35.0 MB/s. To check if it can take the pressure we ran over it with a car and then fried it. Literally, in a frying pan.

i always tought usb max speed was 33mb/s
how can that thing can do 35?

I have one of their older non-tough drives. It took a swim in Lake Michigan and wasn't even bothered.

I do have to say, that while the fit of the cap may seem good enough now, after about a year of use either the cap wears down a little or the metal on the USB connector does, because the fit becomes noticeably weaker and I found the cap falling off just by pulling it out of my pockets.

The price might seem a little high, but you also have to consider that these come with a lifetime warranty. So even if it does break it will be replaced for free.

a LOT of people here will have michelin tires. i'll give you another hint: my car not a photo of mine but color matches. not many of these around here, so good luck.

Hey,

I'm seeing similar write performance issues like the ones you noted in your review. I was just wondering if you ever figgure the root of the problem?

When asked Jon from XSReviews to test it, did you send him your drive or did he test his own? I'm wondering if its a defective drive.
