so months ago i bought 2 four gig kits of Patriot Viper ddr2 1066, which have a profile for 5-5-5-15

i banged them in and set them to default and all went well, tried the next day to dabble in some over clocking and with a half hour of fiddling couldn't get 1111mhz to boot, so i said stuff it, its fast already, there's lots of it, i can deal.

now a few months down the track i got in the mood to tweak it today, lowen behold 1266mhz @ 5-5-5-15 @ 2.22v (stock is 2.1)

BAM right outta nowhere.....:D

Nice very nice ..
What kind of Wprime scores do you get now ?

haven't tried...

Yeah, I have had similar occurrences with compooters. I wonder if the Earth's magnetic field fluctuations etc. are screwing with things.

I dunno whether you're particles or waves but you go down smooth.

bless cosmic forces for my ram overclocking :respect:

I think you can atribute that to what is called "burn in"
