Overclocking Gskill DDR5 6000 to 6133 1T timings.

@D007 ahh its Hynix. The QVL lists were wrong and CAS 28 makes more sense now. Hard to know if its M or A die without taking it apart. Hynix M/A can do 1.5 V just fine. Above that, the returns are limited and somewhere around 1.6 will cause damage if not cooled well enough. I personally don't go above 1.5 V for daily use.

tREFI could be higher, I didn't touch it at all for that OC. I think it was given we problems at 65000, so I left it at default.

That's the hard part. Could be CPU related voltages, dram voltage, primary, secondary timings or just the MB or IMC just can't do that. I would switch to 2T. Lock on all your dram values to narrow it down. 1T needs higher SA voltage.

Probably need a fan on the ram too. That's how I OC because it errors out otherwise. Keep it in the 45c range.

Yea. I’ll probably revert all the cpu settings to stock to make sure it’s not the cpu as well. My SA is set to like 1.4 lol.
MB is an Arous master so I doubt the MB has an issue.

SA probably to high. Ever CPU acts differently, but if you run at stock and 1.4 it will probably give you errors. Mine hates 1.4 . 1.25-1.3 is the sweet spot for me. TX 1.5v doesn't like my CPU either.

Hi,
You can try reconnecting cpu power plugs plus 24 pin as well to the board and use clear cmos and try again see if the errors go away
But yeah add a fan over those dimms is step one in max oc'ing
I used a 80mm noctua fan at one time and ghetto mod it in place

It was the frequency. I was trying for 6400 lol.
I went back to 6133 and ran testmem5 with anta777 extreme for an hour with no errors.

Try my timings out, I needed like 1.46v on the ram/sa, everything else is AI OC for the most part, but M-die 6400 64GB dual rank @ 55-57ns.
