well the card mem messed up sometime last week :p

guess to much volts to the core or something but I havent tryed the mod for the mem cuz wheres the point for the volt reading on the mem cuz I dont want to kill this card its my last one and not getting the sonics back moving on to something else in a month so :ohwell:

but this time I made it net looks alot better then the other card if anyone wants to see i'll take pics ;)

so far this is a better card furmark to load card 1.35v got 900 linked :D going to try 3DM06 :pimp:

okay brb im getting 1.87Xv on the mem so is that low for this ram at 1000Mhz + cuz the other messed up at 1100 stock :(

Qimonda chips are tricky for what comes to voltages. There's no exact sweet-spot.
Usually people report best results around 1.9v. And to make things worse their OC stability is kinda "switch and bait", first they seem perfectly stable & artifacct free, then after some minutes of 3D they collapse completely.

Depends largely on the cooling.
I bet that on air you'll hit a wall @ under 1.4v.
It's quite impossible to determine an universally optimal memory voltage hence the "2-way" memory mod (up and down).

Hmmm. Weird.
You wouldn't happen to be using one and same VR for both the normal vMEM mod and the reverse mod? Doing that could cause such a problem.

Stock resistance between pin4 & pin13 is around 0.62kΩ, the reverse mod works by lowering this resistance - does it decrease when you tune the VR? And does resistance between pin4 and pin7 change when you tune the VR of the reverse mod?

Is any of this applicable to an eVGA 9600GSO? They're $47 right now on newegg. I ordered one today and it would be pretty awesome if I could use these voltage mods.

The Palit version isn't different from other 9600GSOs like the Galaxy one, right (which is soft-moddable to 8800GTS?). So, shouldn't it be possible to do volt-mods to the eVGA card? It would be pretty cool, since the eVGA card is pretty cheap right now.
