We are testing PC Power & Cooling's new flagship PSU, which promises insane performance even up to 50°C ambient temperatures and also features Platinum efficiency along with a semi-modular design, which utilizes heavy-duty modular connectors. All above are combined with a hefty 7 year warranty.

Very very good review:), well done, I Love PC Power&Cooling, I love somuch my 910W silencer that I bought three of them for my two computers and a extra just in case, well done also for PC Power&Cooling, :rockout:Congratulations:)

* Checks Hell * Yeah, it's frozen solid.

A PCP&C Silencer that has modular cabling, a 120+ mm fan and is actually silent.

But a nice comeback for PCP&C, finally they did everything as should be done.

TPU - please focus more (as in MORE) on PSUs that are actually needed my 80-90% of users. Such as, say, 400-500 watters. In absolute terms, only a handful ppl really need 1 kW units. The fact that they are mostly purchased by ppl who would be perfectly fine with 1/3 of that doesn't really prove anything.
So, just please do more tests of normal, useful PSUs. We already have JonnyGuru who wastes his time and skills doing test of +1 kW units.

The problem is that for some reason PSU vendors don't want to send samples of "realistic" PSUs

Because they know marketing wise the halo models will always draw in perspective buyers then you move them over to something more realistic in their budget.

Love the older style connectors, wonder if they make this same one for Rosewill Lighting series.

Can't wait till EVGA sends out their Classified 1500w PSU for review, can't wait till you guys get your hands on it.

Great review as always. I wish PC P&C were available where I live.

I totally AGREE with the Straight pathway Airflow generated with a 80mm fan. With the increased efficiency of the power supply (Silver, Gold, Platinum) the requirements of airflow decrease and a quiet 80mm fan become the better design strategy , speaking about the controversial cable modular design, my opinion is AGAINST the silly cable modular design, the fully hard wired to the PSU design is Better because the added extra PCB on the back of the PSU (where the modular cables go attached) stop the Straight pathway airflow, increase the PSU cost and decrease to some extent the overall performance of the PSU
