Well you have to open your image you are using as a template into paint. (sorry I'm making an assumption you have an image file you are using as the template)
If you can manage to take a native snapshot from the screen on your device (from your device) to an image file without the text showing that might work too.

I used a blur function but it takes multiple steps for me to do this with the tools I'm using to mask, cut, paste, etc then layering them back together. (I'm NOT a professional artist btw.)

You see what my Paint screen looks like, right? I have very few options vs the normal Paint program. I do not understand why it is that way.

It's blank. From the menu File then Open your image.

Perhaps we are not on the same page. If your trying to make the image mods yourself you probably will be able to do it with gimp. I was using snag-it to make that quick and dirty sample I showed you.

I was just trying to show you what the Paint Program looks like for me when I open it up. It isn't like anything else I have ever seen in Paint...this is broken lol.

That looks like the normal old paint to me. None the less all you need to do, if you have the background image, is to load it (Menu, file, open) then select all (CTRL+A) and copy and paste it into the post if you want me to make the modification. Maybe what you are saying is you are loading it but perhaps paint isn't showing the image but blank instead?

Compared to the image in post #50 it is night and day...there is nothing normal at all about it. Post a screenshot of your Paint screen opened for comparison.

What happens is the image is 3500x4500 pixels (jpeg) and I have no way to downsize it with Paint the way it is currently configured.

Let me check my gf's pc as I believe I used a legit copy of Win 11 on hers.

Edit: Yep...the legit copy of Win 11's Paint looks exactly like your Win 10 Paint. Guess I'm screwed when it comes to Paint lol...unless I can somehow download it.

In the old paint you can use the magnifying glass to zoom out. Alternatively you can load the image into browser, change the browser size and zoom, take and post the screen shot with ALT+PRINT SCREEN and paste (CTRL+V).

Thanks, but too many hoops for this lol. I'm about to build another desktop for my daily so I don't have to keep the gamer spun up all day. I'll load a legit Win 11 on it so I can have full function of Paint. :mad: I've used this same OS for years in Win 10 (Ghost Spectre) and never had this issue...oh well.

Come to think of it, I've had problems with the display of AIDA64 as well...betting there is something that's been stripped out of this OS. I just recently made the switch to Win 11 and had no reference point to gauge from...I sure do miss Win 7. :p
