I was on discord and they said memory is all incorrect with the speed and is underclocked. I haven't notice it, i thought it was fine, thought i would ask here , is it true?
if so, i have them place in the slots correctly.

yes u need to set north bridge and mem frequency to match in example 1800 NB freq 1800 mem freq

Okay whatever that northbridge clock thing.. no.

See if your bios has an XMP option and turn that on. Xeons aren't known for memory speeds especially on V4 where the rated max is 2400. If you're pushing older ram then not a whole lot you can do. You're using server grade hardware and your discord friends probably don't actually know about it.

my bad thought u were am4 i looked at something else

DOCP is an Asus thing, not Dell.
xmp/docp same function different name

The Speccy info is right there. Hugely different spec than anything AM4.

wait, so i should rearrange them or what?
And reading around "The Dell Precision T5810 workstation does not natively support XMP (Extreme Memory Profile), a feature designed to enable overclocking of RAM speeds. It's important to note that the T5810's memory controller is designed to run RAM at the speeds specified by the CPU and motherboard, not to overclock it.

I don't see it. I didn't think anything about it, everything runs just fine, games, videos, no problems with anything.

Use cpu-z, show us the spd tab. It might just be 1866mhz memory installed.

The Xeon V4's are locked; the multiplier as well as the maximum RAM speed. I have that same CPU in an ASRock X99 Extreme4 with 128GB of DDR4 3200 in it. It'll only let the RAM run at 2400 plus whatever increasing the BLCK to 103.5 adds. I also have an E5 2699 V4 in an Asus X99 Deluxe, same thing with that as well. I have no idea of what options your mobo offers as far as overclocking but the only thing you can do with a Xeon 26xx V4 is give the BLCK a slight bump. 103.5 is what I've found to be the most stable.

Honestly, 13-13-13 probably fine. CL15 for an extra 100mhz isn't going to be some night and day difference. In fact, you might even have lower latency as is.

Is it stable? Works for you? Maybe, just leave it alone... old man once told me, don't fix something that ain't broken.

Curious about one thing, why is it showing only 4 memory slots are being used, when i have 6 ram sticks in and 2 are empty?

Good question.

I would remove the 2 sticks that don't show and see if anything changes. Might had a couple go kaput. Or maybe just some debris in the slots.
