To me it is a travesty that a case this big has no support for 140mm fans.

The me the 011 would be so much better (Any case for that matter) if the fans were able to be angled like in the Cooler Master HAF 500 on the bottom.

Dual intake. With PSU on the floor you don't have a cold floor to make up for the lack of directed air coming from the side intake.

I hear you but am now just more confused — wouldn’t you run the PSU as intake from the bottom? They don’t exhaust out of the “top.”

Idk how much “directed airflow” actually makes a difference, especially without blower GPUs (and with so many people just filling up every fan slot for the sake of it, particularly top exhaust fanatics on these forums, which is bonkers for the most part), but am generally in favor of more pressure than less, so can appreciate the desire for seven intake fans, even if overboard unless you’re using dual 360 radiators at the front.

I was meaning in regards to the O11 that has the PSU behind the mobo tray, the side intake doesn't matter as much as you have fans on the floor for the GPU.

I see what you mean. Still, imo, side intake shouldn’t make much of a difference. It’s not like the air is going to hit the other side and get stuck there

But yeah, bottom intake probably helps a little bit for the GPU. Clearance and impedance kind of sucks on all of these cases though. They need to give us at least an inch!

It's a nice looking case, but slowly the market is becoming saturated with alternative versions of the Lian Li o11. I loved when Phanteks still had great offerings in the small ATX or mATX space and owned a Phanteks Evolv mATX for some years. Where did that size class go? It's either enthusiast-ITX or enthusiast EATX now. Even the budget offerings like the G300A are growing in size from release to release. Guess what, Phanteks, people who go for budget cases rarely combine those with a 4090, but often with a 30 cm long card.

The NV5 is good looking, but a 60 litres mid tower case. Companies like Fractal Design sell cases with 60+ litres volume within the XL naming scheme.

My kingdom for Enthusiast EATX, so many cases might *support* EATX but the cable management invariably gets covered by the board.
