The only GPU I've seen that experiences VRAM issues or notable bottlenecks is the 1060 3GB. This is the 6GB variation so odds are it runs completely fine. The 1060 is more than capable for about 95% of users. If you want 4K or the bleeding edge you're not looking at the 1060 anyway--you're looking at a 1080 Ti.

Idk how ANYone can even contemplate a card. 1060's for instance are running in the 400's, when they barely broke 225 6 months ago. I honestly feel sorry for anyone that needs a GPU right now.

Guys, those of us the least bit cost conscious can see the prices are way above where they were. To get the cheapest 1060's you have to go single fan 3GB. Perhaps I wasn't explicit: dual fan 6GB models are way above the low prices they were before the mining boom struck.

The cheapest 6GB GTX1060 on newegg right now is a Dual-Fan MSI card for $259.99. That's a whole $10 more than what I paid for my GTX1060 before the mining craze hit. Not really "way" above where they were. More like slightly above.

My Apologies. Apparently my Newegg filtering on my phone that normally stays in place went missing, and I was looking at marketplace prices in there too.

Since I hadn't visited in awhile it was a big difference. A check of some other sites might have shown me a more realistic picture.
