Looks solid.
Important to note these results don't paint the full picture as your 7800X3D outperforms my 7900X in gaming even though I'm scoring 126. The 3D V cache doesn't seem to factor too much here (more about GHz) These benchmarks are interesting but hard to surmise the direct impact on real world performance.

Will post single thread results later.

And here they are.
In general was hoping for a little better results for both multi and single but ah well. Still good enough for any of my needs and single core performance is great for games.

Above the score of my result on page 8, below managed to squeeze the last drops of juice out of my chips, a very minor improvement :ohwell: (maybe also due to the new graphics driver and the lower ambient temps allowed the multi core to run @ 4.8 GHz maxed out on 75 degrees Celcius).

Updated bios to newest and tweaked some settings a little bit and here and there and these are the newer results for my 7600X:

1698169182583.png

This time I tested with case glass off - I think that explains the notably better (34 point increase) MC results as while the CPU is properly cooled, the frequency does depend on temperature and my cooler isn't place optimally (it shoots hot air at the top of the case instead of to the exhaust :D Too lazy to change it, will do it when I upgrade to 8600X/8700X).

P.S. system is as in my specs here.

P.S.S. I'm really positively surprised that this 6-core CPU is stronger than the 8-core 5800X in both MC and SC!

Is your 4080 tremendously fast or my one is lazy?

I think you can do better with that RX 6700XT , you're only runnig 8 lanes instead of 16.
Because I have two M.2 drives, it halves the bandwith of the main PCIe slot.

That's the reason I choose a X570 board. I've 3 x a M2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. One (C-drive) directly connected to the CPU and the other two to the chipset. There I only loose two SATA ports.

Well that sux I wouldn't have thought a Crosshair mobo would do that considering the TUF x470 I used to have didn't and that was a lower end mobo than the Crosshair VII hero

[x] Doubt

PCIe 4.0 8x = 16x 3.0 = more than enough bandwith for lower mid-tier card like 6700XT.
It's running 8x 3.0 according to the screenshot.

that changes in real-time if running some, if no change, then is it saying the correct thing

some tiny load and pressing that ?-mark
I know it does down-clock when not loaded, but I can't tell what state it is in (while under load) from the screenshot.

Results of a brand new Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT. Wonder how it holds up against other's. I see it's around 6950 results from other user so I guess that's about right? The test also seems to be notably biased towards Nvidia cards. The 3070 is as good or better than 7800XT.

What does HIP mean?

1698295530739.png

Found explanation why AMD cards receive such a low score compared to Nvidia. ( From https://www.cgdirector.com/cinebench-2024-scores/ )

Also seems like my results for 7800XT are pretty good. Just as expected from the factory OC'd Nitro+.
