TUL has introduced the newest PowerColor Red Dragon RX Vega 56 8GB HBM2. This card complements the already successful Red Devil Vega cards offering a more valuable solution in an environment of rising prices without compromising performance, reliability, or cooling performance.

This card has a shorter PCB, mainly due to cooling efficiency. The Devil series has a much larger Cooling, which works amazingly well, but TUL wanted to have something more affordable yet having an extremely efficient cooling ability, which shortening the PCB helped to balance the lower cooling wattage dissipation compared to Devil card. In their testing, this card is the quietest card they've ever manage for Vega. It is powered by AMD's gaming VEGA architecture offering the blazing performance at the highest resolutions with uncompromised graphic details. PowerColor Red Dragon RX VEGA 56 features a GPU boost clock of 1478Mhz while clocking at 800Mhz on 8Gb 2048Bit of ultra energy efficient HBM2 memory.

The card features a 3x fan cooling design with smart heat pipe and fins design to minimize noise while keeping the temperatures low. For ultra silent gaming operation, the card also features a bios switch which has the capability to switch from Overclocking to silent mode in which the card becomes near inaudible even during extreme gaming.

Red Dragon Vega 56 will be available worldwide on the 28th of March in selected retailers and e-Tailers.

Cooler looks a little over done, why can Sapphire put out a beast cooler for Fury like the Nitro OC+ model yet other companies struggle to do it?
Cooler is way too large and bulky, i would be afraid of my PCI-E ripping out of the board.

It does look nice though!

Me thinks partners shouldn't release anything and force AMD to fix the drivers lol

More the merrier i guess. But where in earth is Vega Nano? This one has short PCB too(Much like Sapphire). Or is it just too damn hot to handle, to make puny cooler for it that performance would be close to RX 580, or what?

Red Dragon Vega 56 will be unavailable worldwide on the 28th of March in selected retailers and e-Tailers and will be shipped directly to miners by the pallet load

Fixed

That or

Red Dragon Vega 56 will be available worldwide on the 28th of March in selected retailers and e-Tailers but will literally cost and arm and a leg

Both Vega56&64 turned to even more boring saga than "Walkind Dead" series, one big flop from AMD helped by mining craze too.

this gpu should look sexy in vertical position, in some builds maybe a bit to late for this gpu, but anyway nice looking card

I'm starting to be really bored with current graphics card stagnation... :twitch: :(

Oh well, what is vega12, which were just added to amdgpu drivers? :wtf:

PowerColor Red Devil Vega 56, available right now, costs $770 on Newegg, looks very similar (red and black), and has a higher boost clock than this model (1526 vs 1478). So why come out with this new Red Dragon model that has lower specs? The price is supposed to be lower, but somehow I doubt it will be by much.

mining edition :D

Interesting color scheme, should fit in red-black themed mining rigs.
