change name and color of the cover + advertisement = mega marketing move when next gens cards is coming .

So is this a real 7990 at last, or a 7970 X2?

There will be no official 7990, if that's what you mean by saying "real". Does this even look like a reference AMD card?

This is similar to 7990 Devil13, but with lower clocks and nicer looking cooler shroud.

There is No Reference 7990, if there was AMD would of produced a board. This is just a lowered version of the Devil 13 since i can only guess pricing was too much on the devil 13

3 Slot is OK for a dual GPU card....

Interesting...
But a listing price would be nice.

The Devil 13 costs $1000, so... this one will be slightly cheaper. Probably $950?

I was just checking if AMD had snuck a reference design out the door while I wasn't looking.

Thanks, wasn't sure if AMD had officially given up on a reference 7990 or not.

so this should be at least 200usd cheaper than the other 7990 card that powercolor released a short while ago

Well if this is 200 USD cheaper than the Devil 13 then it is a good deal and what it should have been from day one.

when is the real one gonna come out?

Wouldn't touch this. It would be different if AMD actually had a reference design. The best choice would be to wait for the HD 8900 series rumoured to be coming out sometime in Q1 2013.

Club3D is getting this one rebranded for Europe I guess :)
